Detailed Reviews
Room was comfortable, unfortunately pool filter was a little noisy at night, wore my earplugs and slept well. Bed was comfortable and firm. A choice of spots to eat in the area, dining in hotel not open due to COVID. Staff very helpful, we left something behind, and were given the option to post it to us or pick up.

Friendly welcome on arrival. Room adequate with some homely touches. A/c was a little noisy but it was a constant noise so we behcame accustomed to it. Nice looking pool but we didn't get the chance to use it due to poor weather. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits provided. Everything we could need for an overnight stay.

The place has just been sold so staff were thin on the ground and the place was in need of some serious TLC. Not withstanding this the staff that were available were fantastic, the rooms were clean, albeit they were missing some basics like dishcloth etc and we were competing with ants for a place at the sink. The pool was disgustingly filthy and had not been cleaned for a while. We used it out of necessity, but not one of us was game to put our heads under. The place has a lot of potential and I hope the new owners turn it back into something special.

I half expected Basil and Sybil to appear at any moment. It started with pre dinner drinks which took a whole 15 minutes get the drinks and pay our bill. And that was after the woman carried the glasses by sticking her fingers down inside them and having to ask 3 times what our order was. The rooms are very so so and one of our travelling party couldn't even take a shower because the shower wasn't working. Dripping taps. A bedside alarm that went off at 5:15 am. Water was provided with the buffet breakfast but we actually had to remind them to put out the juice. No teaspoons. No small bread plates. No WiFi instructions in the room folder. It was hilarious.

Booked 3 rooms back in June 2022 @ $85 per room for an overnight stay in September owner took $360 from my account this was not the agreed price he was not available on site and there was no breakfast as advertised & Restaurant was closed.
Contacted him a few times regarding this he didn’t care at all had told a few fibs re the breakfast. Don’t stay here not a very well run place & the company in Brisbane didn’t care less either personally were all staying away from this Hotel chain 👎

Sadly not much good to say about this hotel, it needs a total renovation or maybe just knock it down and rebuild.
Rooms are tired, well worn, carpet feels old, bed needs replacing, furniture chipped, marks on walls a/c an old rattler that sounds like a jet engine. To top it off we pulled the dinning chair out and the back had some sticky substance on it.
Think the owners have just taken the revenue and not given any thought into spending money on the place and keeping it up to date.

Go somewhere else to stay.
No meal service
No room service, didn’t make up the bed, or put out clean towels or empty rubbish bins.
Couldn’t have a shower before going out to tea as no water
Rooms are dirty. Fan in bathroom absolutely disgusting dirty. Mould on glasses in fridge.
Towels have holes them.
Managers are unorganised and seem like they’re either on drugs or drunk.
Repeat: run, do not stay here.

This is NOT a motel to stay at. Started with being told i would have a lock box code to be sent to me after a long day at work. It was a Sunday afternoon - no code was sent and could not reach anyone on the phone. Stood on the side of the road for an hour - absolutely frustrated.
Finally got into my room to find a tap was free running in the bathroom and 1/4 roll of toilet paper. Bed was rubbish and black mould in the shower.
3 days later...tap still free running and absolutely no toilet paper - even when they advertise they service the room every 2nd day. (Note my day starts at 4am and ends at 6pm). No one around to advise. Wasn't clean and remotes don't work.
This place has nothing going for it. Don't waste your time. Stay somewhere else. I will never stay here again.

The hotel has a lot of work going on. But maybe they need to consider closing off a few rooms at a time and completing the work. The walls had been painted at some stage, no new paint smell, but paint splatter all over the carpet. The power went off just after rising: no kettle, no heating, no TV. Did the front desk care. No, too busy with their mobile phone. Finally found a workman who checked the fuse board and fixed the problem. He indicated fuses were flicking frequently. Another guest indicated they had put up with half their circuits out for 2 days. A long time since we had a single bar radiator on the wall for heating. Aircon only provided cooling. Very basic, budget property, over priced.

Atrocious, start with NO smoke detectors. I’m pretty sure this is illegal. Floors were dirty, dishes dirty. Pillows are probably 5 years old. Everything here has zero care. Avoid at all costs, even for your own personal safety. Government need to do more checks on places like this.
