Doesn’t look much from the street but don’t be put off, It is a very comfortable motel. Ground floor room with undercover parking at front door. They do have upstairs rooms also I think. Nice room, had a window opening onto an unused (by guests anyway) side path, so happy to be able to turn aircon off and have some fresh air. Good size room and bathroom, all clean, bed was very comfortable and we had a blanket instead of the heavy quilts often supplied where I need to turn aircon right down to be comfortable so was very happy and comfortable with the blanket, all I needed. There was a microwave, toaster and kettle in room if needed, room staff very helpful. Park bench outside room for a coffee, facing pretty little garden. Great location near Centre of town and we love to eat at The Star Hotel down the road, really good chicken wings and steak.

Enjoyed an excellent stay at this very central motel. This was a pet friendly stay, no problems with the room, all amenities were very clean. 5 minutes away is the Star Hotel, great dinner menu. On the way is Dominoes, Chinese and another hotel. In the morning you can pick up some early breakfast at the bakery, a couple of shops up.

We had a very nice room, very clean and quiet with parking at the door. We travelled with our bulldog who was welcomed with no problems. The motel is close to quite a few eateries and even though on a main road we didn't notice the traffic. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and informative.

Long road trip, found this hotel online that was pet friendly. Fantastic hotel, clean room with crispy white sheets, air conditioning and very neat and tidy. We had one of the rooms at the back of the hotel, it was nice and quiet! Would recommend this hotel if passing through with your pet

I last stayed here in 2019 (loved it) and it's gone downhill since then. It's a motel but no bowls or plates or cutlery. Really weird. A sign said you can ask for these!? Also there was an extended, noisy, racket at night as some of the guests were either having a HUGE argument or a good time with people on the street (they were non-English speakers so i couldn't tell). A great location no doubt but improvements need to be made in how this place is run.

Such a beautiful room for such a small price. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. The bathroom is amazing. The bed is so comfortable. Right near so many restaurants and food venues for many choices of food. Awesome place

Great value for money. Nothing flash, just basic clean accommodation with a great bed and good tv. Close to pubs and take aways. Great pie shop close by. Definitely would stay there again. Staff lovely.

Clean, tidy, secure parking great WiFi, hot strong showers, comfortable, close to all amenities.
Great host, fast check in and a very comfortable, clean bed, with a great air conditioner at an extremely competent prices makes this motel very hard to beat

Considering the price, this motel is of a great standard. We only stayed the one night but it was clean and very comfortable. It is in the main highway so there is a little bit of road noise but nothing overly bothersome. The staff were fantastic. Would happily stay here again on our next visit to Emerald.
