We stayed overnight here and the groundsman was very friendly. The sites cater for large vans and are powered. The amenities are very clean with hot showers.It was a great price for the night $25 and we found it to be quite. It is only a short drive into the town.

We stayed at the Showgrounds on our way to long reach and Winton two weeks ago we were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us a great roomy spot for two days, the showers and toilets were spotless and hot showers were a welcome delight when you have travelled all day,

We stayed at these showgrounds as it was recommended by others we met on our travels. Very friendly managers. Not far into town. Ended up staying 3 nights due to the really strong winds. Will definitely return.

If you want somewhere to pull up for the night on your travels, this is the place the amenities are good, a bit dusty but there's water, electricity as well reasonable rates $25 a night and first in best dressed.

This is our second stay at a showground and it was great, plenty of room and we were able to keep away from pesky pan lickers. $25.00 per couple with power and Water. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The amenities are clean and tidy but needed the toilet paper dispensers replaced, the paper towel dispenser needed filling and a soap dispenser would be an asset. Overall it was a great 3 night 🌃 stay.

We booked into the Showgrounds for one night and ended up staying three nights. We will recommend this camping ground to other banners and we will return again. Well organised by Rob the caretaker, a credit to you Rob.

Called to stay in here for the night as we are on our way to Cairns, Called the caretaker to see what we had to do, he told us how to enter the grounds and what to do and he would be around at about 4pm to pick up the fee $25 for the night for a nice large site with grass, power and water. The amenities are good and unisex, with seperate showers and toilets, you picked up the key for them on your way in , much cheaper than some of the parks around here were charging. Would recommend this to anyone who is on a tight budget and you can arrange to stay longer, if you speak to the caretaker
