Very clean room, cleaned daily. Friendly staff, breakfast included, but same day after day. Convenient location. Thank goodness the tv and air conditioning worked. In December the temp outside was high, so air con was great. Unfortunately no cold water in cold tap, always hot, so hot shower and hot water to clean teeth. But you can’t blame motel for heat. A luggage rack and a door to bathroom for privacy would help.

Arrived around 6pm with rain beating down, the manager was lovely, couldn't do enough for me and after 3 days on the road that was appreciated. Room was clean, spacious and the shower, at 6 foot five I could get under it with room to spare, good pressure and room to move around in it, not one elbow strike on anything. Ordered dinner and breakfast, very nice rump steak and veg for mybtea, my bacon and egg breakfast hit the spot, I must say the 707 chef does nice work. Beds are comfy, for the price I was a happy traveller and would definately return and have no qualms recommending this place to others.

We stayed in a basic $99 room with free breakfast and it was great. We heard traffic/truck noise till about 9pm then again at 6am which didn’t bother us. The room was basic, no plates, no face washers, just a block of soap and a towel, a microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was ample to get us started. The shower is awesome, enjoy the pressure! We would stay here again, the wifi is super fast.

We stayed at the Motel 707 for one night of our Queensland road trip. Check-in was friendly and efficient and the price very reasonable. The manager was friendly and very responsive. Our room was clean, tidy and very comfortable and the motel had everything we needed for our stay, including a guest laundry which was very handy for washing our clothes after spending the two previous days at Carnarvon Gorge in the rain. The included bacon, egg and toast breakfast was really good and delivered to our room on time by the busy on-site chef. Combined with the tea and coffee facilities in our room, we were set up for breakfast before hitting the road.
Motel 707 is conveniently located close to the town centre with a range of restaurants and pubs, so after checking in and unpacking we were able to explore the town and then have dinner at a nearby pub.
We will definitely consider staying at Motel 707 again on a future trip to Emerald.

Average hotel. Located on the main road so if you don’t like noise or being woken up at 6.30am by trucks get a room at the back. Poor reception in rooms if you have Optus. In my nine weeks holiday through Queensland and staying at numerous hotels my interaction with the female staff member was one of the lowlights of my trip. I found her rude and hostile in behaviour and communication towards me. Personally I wouldn’t stay here again and would recommend if your after accomodation in Emerald you look at other accomodation.

Excellent Motel. This is the second time we've stayed here. Rates are excellent when booked directly with hotel, and includes free hot breakfast Mon-Sat, and free continental breakfast on Sun. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend this hotel whenever you need somewhere to stay in Emerald.

This was an overnight stay for us. We were pleasantly surprised. Yes, there is noise from the trucks at the intersection, but this does settle down as the night goes on. A room at the back would be more suitable. We ordered dinner from the on-site kitchen. Wow, plentiful and delicious, and reasonably priced. Breakfast is included in the price (M-S), again plentiful and delicious. Both meals arrived at the time booked. Jojo is amazing, just the person you need at reception.

After a long drive it was nice and clean to sleep for the night. The host was very friendly and accommodating. They served dinner in there restaurant with a in house chef and the meal was delicious . There was a bonus free breakfast which you dont seem to get anymore. The road noise was a bit annoying but cant help that. You take the good with the bad.

This is an older, basic motel but it’s just fine for an inexpensive overnight stay. The staff were friendly, the room was very clean, the shower was great, the bed was fine, and everything worked. A/C was quiet too. Get a room further back from the road if you can and the traffic won’t bother you. If you’re a visiting pilot (i.e. without a car) they might even collect you from the airport if time permits. As a bonus, they provide a simple free bacon and egg breakfast as well. Wendy the manager was great to deal with. What’s not to like?

A great motel, not modern but really clean. Comfy beds, friendly staff and very close to town. The breakfast was great delivered to your room. We also had dinner here, it was a lovely meal, great value for money. We will stay again next time we return to Emerald.
