Situated in of the most beautiful parts of the north. You can see the river from the verandah. Not in the wet season though. Village has a general store and places to eat. It all looks quite comfortable.

Touring Queensland north of Port Douglas and came upon this nice little site. Well maintained although toilet block a bit dated..an excellent stopover. Pete the boss has a nice collection of antiques including a beautiful 1955 ford pickup.

Rooms are clean and basic, with a somewhat dated feel. The best bit was the shower, which was reasonably powerful. The location is beautiful, over looking the Daintree River. We were glad we were only staying the one night.
