Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited during Covid times, so whilst there are 15 well marked and separated camp sites available, only half of them were currently able to be used and needed to be booked in advance.

In terms of facilities, the campground only offers clean and well maintained drop toilets but its’ location immediately adjacent to Noah Beach is spectacular and it is only a few minutes from Cape Trib.

There is no power available and most sites are very shady so it is unlikely to be great for solar panel recharging (but note generators are not allowed). We stayed three nights and it proved great base for exploring this part of the Daintree region.

A very special place indeed. Amenities are limited to to drop toilets which are well maintained. Drinking water must be brought with you. No fires as it's in a national park. The beach was absolutely pristine with the finest sand I've ever seen. The view from the beach is spectacular also.

This small camping ground is spread out along a circuit road on & off the main road. It gives some good distance between most sites.

Direct beach access and the beach is fabulous

Good raised amenities

Large area campsite under the rainforest canopy....only a few metres from the beach....good long drop toilets....great spot for an overnight stop on the Daintree coast. Only 13 spots so booking was wise. Is only just off the road but still quiet. Bring your own water..no fires.

We stayed in a camper van for a few night. We were slightly worried our tall camper (3 meters) wouldn’t fit (it says on the website no large campers) but we managed with ease. The camping spots are roomy. Thankfully we booked as it was full when were arrived but still felt private. There is only toilet blocks there, no showers or anywhere to wash your dishes but for $6 a night to camp near the beach you can’t go wrong. The facilities were cleaned and stocked daily. Would recommend

This beautiful camp spot in the middle of nowhere between Cape Tribulation and Daintree offers you the chance to overnight in a rainforest right next to the beach at a very cheap rate. We camped in a mobilehome with our six and 1 year old and it was a fantastic experience sitting in a rainforest listening to very different sounds than we are used to. Precautions needs to be taken as there are salties (saltwater crocodiles in the ocean, and there are also dangerous spiders, snakes and plants, so keep your kids in sights. Needless to say this is a campsite for those who enjoy the basics of life and likes nature.

The are fifteen spots available on this campsite and there are toilets and water (not drinkable). You book a spot by either calling the Department of National Parks, Sports and Racing or via the app

We really appreciate our trip over there. Really close to the beach, really quiet and good network. We were surprise because of the price (in the good way!) the rangers are nice. Don't forget your drinking water!

Just a few sites (maybe 13).
You NEED to book online. Sites are not big
We have a lancruiser and 16ft poptop caravan
Lucky we chose site 11.
Walk path to beach just nearby.
Toilet are very clean.
Beach is very pretty for walks when the tide is out.
It rained on and off for the time we were there but was great listening to the ocean and rain.
Def recommend.
