We drove into the Warrego van park entered the office
and was warmly greeted by the owner, she gave us a corner drive thru site
with a patch of beautiful green Grass and trees front and rear as well
we set up, and sat in our chairs on the thick Grass and looked into Paddocks
front and side on.

There were Many blocks of 10 or more Drive thru sites, some with Hedges and Fruit trees at the front or rear
and nearly All had their own long Patch of Thick Green Grass door side of van or M/homes..

But I soon found out a few had Dog Crap in the grass left by Irresponsible Pet owners ..How could they do that
when the Park Owner obviously spend Many hours making this park so Beautiful for Vanners and Motorhomers

So be Aware when you step on the Grass. ..The answer is Ban all pets or take a Deposit on sites with Animals
and check for fouling before they leave... how Disappointing when the Park Owner has to clean up after these Pigs.

The amenities were mostly old timber and very old iron sheeting they were spotless as was the laundry
with Sturdy clothes lines that will not Break..fencing wire thats why...

ladies, Gents, and laundry all accessed by 1 common door how smart and handy is that.

The very large camp kitchen is close by the amenities semi enclosed with enough settings and seating
for over 150 folk, there is ample room to cook and BBq and host events in this area.

A little past the kitchen is a fire pit with wood and chairs supplied and a small shed for shelter this looks out onto the flowing River..

The office has a small library, and the nice decor and building is all from old timbers and very old iron sheeting

its a few ks from town but well worth the short distance to experience the peaceful beautiful manicured
Lawns, shrubs, Hedges, fruit trees, and herb garden that surround this awesome Park we spent only a few days here on
the run home only the Convirus kept us from staying much Longer at this great park.

We will return again to this oasis park in the future.

But full credit to the friendly caring Garden loving Owner, and her helpers she deserves So Much Credit
in trying to make Yours and My Stay here a happy and memorable one, just be Kind back to Her and Respect the Lawns and Gardens..Dont Drive on them..

I did a small clean up in the camp kitchen on a hot day..no worries. just to show
my appreciation of being here.

Thanks again to the very nice Lady owner.. and for the NYCap...

This park is actually quite large, although quiet at the moment. It is owned by a lady who took on the project some 8 years ago, and has worked hard to create a very pleasant environment, with lots of plants and bushes and green spaces. The toilet/showers are clean, there is a quirky camp kitchen, and a camp fire area where most people gather of an evening. It is peaceful, by the river, and about 5 km out of town.

An unexpected oasis on a long trip home from Brisbane to Adelaide in a camper van. The owner couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful on arrival. The $15.00 for an unpowered site by the river including helping yourself to firewood for a camp fire was amazing. Beautifully secluded sites with plenty of green and gardens. Amazing, peaceful, great facilities and has a completely different feel to other caravan parks. Definitely worth a visit.

From the moment you arrive at the park the owner makes you feel welcome. Beautiful areas to park your van amongst the shrubs and fruit trees. Situated on the river not far from the town centre. The facilities are spotless. Camp fire set up near the riverbank to watch the sun go down and admire the bird life. Beautiful rose gardens and ample room for your own site privacy. Thank you.

Stayed here for several nights while visiting Cunnamulla. The owners/mangers could not be more friendly or helpful. Very nice drive through sites separated by planted strips, mainly native vegetation that attracts the birds, offering good privacy. there are both grassed areas and gravel areas. Amenities are very good: Covid practices applying. A good camp kitchen. Telstra and Optus both available but no wifi. Birdlife is prolific. It is located a few km out of town.

We camped here in a small tent on soft lawn near the river. The garden surrounds are beautiful with a mix of indigenous and introduced plants. The host Judy was very helpful guiding us through installing the Qld govt covid app. And great birdwatching. I saw a sacred kingfisher, always a thrill.

What a wonderful place to stay. We stayed 3 nights on our trip to Birdsville & 2 on the way home. The park was nice and quiet of a night & we were lucky to have been staying there when Tom Maxwell was entertaining us around the nice big warm camp fire with his country music, such a treat. The bird life was absolutely abundant attracted to the beautiful gardens. I suggest getting up early in the morning and head to the river as listening to the birds was a delight.
The amenities were lovely & clean with a nice scent of roses and the showers wow!. We stayed on a powered site which had your own lemon tree and a hedge garden for privacy. Good on you Judy! you do an amazing job. We would definitely visit again.
Thankyou

We had the pleasure of staying two nights at this amazing place. On arrival we were welcomed by the very friendly and helpful owner Judy. This park is spotless, as were the amenities. I would definitely recommend staying here to experience the peaceful camping on the river bank and to experience " Happy Hour", sitting around the communial camp-fire and listening to some live country music, while enjoying the sunset. Well done Judy, you should be very proud of what you have achieved.

Beautiful gardens and lawns that are well maintained make this place and oasis in an otherwise barren landscape.

Very clean, spacious, and well appointed amenities block. Enormous camp kitchen that is well set out and all the facilities you are likely to need.

The host is very accommodating and welcoming which makes for a relaxing stay. Just a few km out of town along the river this is such a tranquil spot. Highly recommended for caravaners, trailer campers, or tent stays.

Hi. Does anyone have a park map ?
Answer from Judy R
Cunnamulla, Australia
Good morning John, Next time you come to our Park please ask for a map and I will print one out if you wish. We only have a small park and because it is very easy to get around we have never worried about maps. Just keeping it all as simple as possible in the outback. Enjoy your holiday, Judy
