I cant say enough lovely things about these cottages, the gorgeous location, the tranquility or the terrific hosts. We stayed 5 nights and loved every minute. The Federation cottage is very special and was lovely and clean, fully equipped and had everything we needed. We had our well travelled border collie dog with us and its a winderful place for walks and relaxing with your pet. Thankyou for providing such an amazing place to stay.

Very relaxing 2 nights in very comfortable surroundings. The property is well maintained and the gardens lovely. Lunch in the gazebo was a good location and a great spot for reading a book and listening to all the birds calling. We stayed in the Studio Suite and it was perfect for us; immaculate. We would definitely return. The property was great for completing some running training in the hills too.

K: Thank you for your stay and positive comments which support our Noosa Hinterland offerings. We continue to adapt to the current contactless check-ins and check-outs looking forward to a return when guests may welcome our increased socialization, perhaps even joining Beby and I during our late afternoon bush trail walks. It is good to read you both explored and appreciated the property's many offerings and nature's blessings. I look forward to hosting your return stay. - Jim

What a fabulous place to stay. The grounds were tranquil and there was plenty to explore on the property. The views were breathtaking. The breeze of an evening with a glass of wine on the porch was priceless. The Federation Cottage was just perfect for us. All the necessities where available to us, a fully functional kitchen and laundry and our little pup Layla could stay. We really liked being away from the hustle of Noosa main but we could still visit if we wanted to, Noosa was a short drive away through some great country. What a great place. Thank you and we can’t wait to return.

L.M&L: Thank you for your stay and for your supportive review. It was a pleasure meeting, conversing and hosting your stay. I'm glad you could appreciate the property's unique natural beauty and diversified offerings despite the historic drought effects. The overdue rains will restore the lawns and gardens for your next visit. I agree that we enjoy the benefit of two worlds; the secluded tranquil and private rural lifestyle with expansive views while busy Noosa main or Sunshine Coast attractions are a short relaxing drive away if wanted. I look forward to your return stay, as does Beby, to hopefully accompany you on another forest and creek walk with Layla and count the blessings nature has gratefully bestowed on this land. Best wishes for 2020! - Jim

Returning to stay after a long time has made us realize what we have been missing. Why oh why did we wait so long? It has not lost any charm and the hosts are as gracious as ever. They have maintained this beautiful piece of paradise over the years. It is simply a credit to them. Our fur kids thank you as well. Lea and Mal

Lea & Mal: Thank you for your kind review. The years have passed quickly between stays though we resumed conversations as if yesterday. I appreciate your observations as nature continues to reward our planting efforts and naturalise our manual additions. It was also good that our successor dogs had the opportunity to meet and play renewing memories of our former beloved pets. Thank you for your support and leaving the cottage immaculate. Despite the current serial rains, you both brought the sun out by your return. I look forward to another return stay hopefully with drier conditions to better explore the arboretums and bush walk trails. Best wishes - Jim

We really enjoyed our few days stay in this very magical place. It was such a joy to smell the gum trees, and to hear the sound of so many different birds (love the whipbirds). A true escape from the real world.

Joyce: I thank you again for your stay, compliments and leaving the cottage so tidy that we were able to allow the next guests' their requested early arrival. I was glad to hear all enjoyed the accessible stay and were warm during these record cold nights welcoming winter. The rains may dampen outdoor activities but, as you noticed, enhance the many shades of green, stimulate the bird songs and enhance the views by watching clouds form and arise from the distant valleys. I look forward to your hoped return and another restful and peaceful stay. - Jim
