Detailed Reviews
From the moment of emailing, to the time we arrived and until we left, the new owners of this park were friendly, helpful and in the end life savers, when the weather turned cold! We stayed four nights using this park as our base to explore the area as the owners were able to recommend local tours and places to visit. The park is spotlessly clean, the showers have plenty of hot water and there is free wifi around the campsite. All camp sites are grass with an amazing number of huge palm trees throughout the entire property. Access to the falls is through the property and there to see for all campers (and visitors passing through). The shop and service station are well stocked with groceries and frozen meat and open long hours, the owners were always present and available. The pool was clean and fully fenced, the BBQ clean and ready to use and there is a communal campfire lit every evening for those who wish to be social. We definitely recommend Endeavour Falls Tourist Park and will be back on our next visit to Cooktown. Thank you for a great stay.

We were 4 adventure motorcyclists traveling to Cape York Peninsular.
The park is perfect for motorcycle travelers, camping and 4 wheel drivers with or without camper trailers.
The camping areas are well sized and offer a variety of levels, powered and un powered, the park is populated with several hundred mature palm trees which offer shaded areas and the grounds are well grassed and very well cared for.
There is a pathway into the forest where the Endeavor Falls are located and although there is the mandatory crocodile warning signs its a safe area to explore on foot.
Amenities for independent travelers are great with some kitchen basics supplied in the cooking shelter and the amenities are very clean and well maintained.
The communal campfire was lit at sunset and the convenience store and fuel station are a welcome addition.
Its an easy 30 Km on a sealed road North from Cooktown on the Endeavor Valley Road ( go past the airfield).
Owners and Staff are welcoming, efficient and hard working people, they made our stay very comfortable.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in our caravan on a powered site. We would definitely return and recommend it to everyone. The park is beautiful and peaceful. Brent and his wife are very welcoming and helpful. The park offers coffee, hot and cold food, grocery items, wi fi, and cheap fuel. The amenities are clean, showers good, camp kitchen clean and tidy, and there is a communal fire pit every night. Couldn't ask for more!

One spot marked on our G’Day Caravan park map was Endeavour Falls. The Falls appear to be located on private property although I would suggest that all such wonders are part of the National Park! Visitors had to “ask permission” from the general store, to enter the road down to the falls. Toilets facing the highway were locked too. It seemed that the managers of the Caravan Park / store adjacent the gate were presiding over this natural attraction, possibly making money from their aggressive stance instead of welcoming travellers. We voted with our ‘feet’ and moved onto more friendly and welcoming hosts and other Falls. Try Isabella Falls - they’re as spectacular and free as well!

5 - The park was clean and quiet. You could hear the falls from the camping grounds. The owners and staff were amazing nothing was a hassle. The owner walked down to where they had put us and asked if the site was suitable. Was the last stop for petrol and the shop had a nice variety of groceries at a reasonable price.
The park had lots of bird life and the walk to the falls was pleasant but a little rocky but if you watched what you were doing it was great!

Great park. Brent is probably the most helpful park manager you will ever meet. When we stayed there we had some rain and the was running around helping out people with tarps etc. so they could stay dry in their swags.
The camp kitchen he build himself is amazing. The park is and the amenities are clean. Great pool and well stocked shop. Definitely will stay there again.

Great campground with lovely grounds and nice pool. Quiet when we were there. Lovely camp kitchen.
A nice drive out there through farming country. The shop had good supplies and hot food if you needed it and fuel. Friendly helpful staff. Reccomend

We only stopped to see the falls, but Jan was so helpful, full of info. Would choose to stay there next trip to Cooktown, the grounds are impeccable, the units tidy and the pool looks inviting. Definitely recommend a visit at least for food and the falls!

We stopped here to have a look at the falls (you need to go through the park to get there).
The owner was so friendly and helpful. The sites are great and the grounds are immaculate. You can also get fuel here and they have a well stocked store too.

We came across Endeavour Falls Tourist Park by accident but hey that's how you can find great gems.
We stayed in one of self contained units at the park and were impressed by the size, cleanliness and facilities. Jan the owner was lovely and so welcoming to us four ladies travelling FNQ. The park is an oasis in the landscape and what's more at the rear of the park you will find Endeavour Falls.
Fabulous location to explore Hope Vale, Elim Beach, Coloured Sands Beach and join the Rainbow Serpent tour with Willie Gordon
The park has a general store, fuel and take away food.
If you're travelling to Cooktown,do yourself a favour and venture up the road (yes dirt in parts) to Endeavour Falls Tourist Park we were happy we did and will definitely go back again.

The road is bitumen most of the way except for two sections of repair 100 meters long.
Be careful of the edges they are quite nasty once past Isabella creek
