Stayed for 4 nights, the park is immaculate. Amenities, camp kitchen, pool and the grounds. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. Within walking distance to the town or there are courtesy buses.

This park is well maintained - gardens, amenities, roads, accommodation with specific areas designated to bbq's and fish cleaning. All sites are very spacious and some divided by flowering bougenvillias. Trees are in abundance offering lots of shade to most sites. Amenities block is centrally located with plenty of unisex ensuites to cater for oodles of campers. Washing machines &...

This caravan park is very neat and tidy. Friendly staff, well set out, clean amenities. The only thing that I didn't really like about it was that I found it to be very expensive. We payed $105 for a cabin without an ensuite in October

Recently I spent a few days at The Big 4 Holiday Park in Cooktown, Far North Queensland.. From the moment I opened the door to reception I noticed that this was not your "average" caravan park greeting... The staff were very pleasant and even though I didn't have a booking were more than accomodating and very tentative.... Talk about 5...

This is the second time we have stayed here. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin which was big enough. The park is well located and is approx 1km to the centre. Staff were friendly and gave us a unit with enough room to park our camper trailer which was great. The park has all the facilities you would need...

Clean neat & tidy park. Was not happy about the sullage hoses being drained onto ground. There were enough Mozzies & Midgies without adding to the wet ground attracting more. Busy park lots coming and going. The park very leafy and tranquil but screaming kids did not make it a pleasanter stay than expected.

We stayed in a two bedroom cabin, nice and clean, tea/coffee provided plus pool towels, pool good for the children, very warm water. Lovely quiet park, only the sounds of the birds and ghecko's to be heard. The owners are friendly, the lady originally comes from Essex in England as we ourselves do too, would definitely come back. Beds are...

On our recent 2 night visit to Cooktown we stayed at the Big 4 as they normally don't disappoint. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the shop at reception very reasonably priced. Lovely large shady sites, well kept amenities and the pool was a much enjoyed area at the end of a warm day. Do pack sandfly repellent ,...

Thank you for staying with us at BIG4 Cooktown Holiday Park. Pleased to hear you enjoyed our Park and facilities. With the current beautiful weather we are having, with currently less wind than normal, the sandflies are out all around town (Cooktown is surrounded by Mangroves). Suggest all to spray up or just a tip, if you have an oscilating...

We stayed at this caravan park in September 2016. The facilities are well kept and staff are very friendly and helpful. The salt water swimming pool was lovely, not heated but naturally quite pleasant.
