Resident owners Brad and Tanya invite you to stay at our lovely park. We offer good old fashion country hospitality and have all the features you would expect - spotlessly clean amenities, self contained cabins, grass and slab powered sites, tent sites, tropical pool, huge well equipped camp kitchen, BBQ's, dump point, kiosk, free wireless internet, jumping pillow, ensuite van sites and we are the closest park to town. Our large fire pit is a great place to share a drink and travel stories with your new found friends. Our chooks, vege and herb gardens provide fresh produce for us all to enjoy. Head chef, Tanya, will do her best to provide delicious and value for money meals over the winter months. To burn off some calories after enjoying Tanya's famous sticky date pudding... why not a game of golf. The course is just next door with clubs and buggies available for hire. We had a 2 night stay in our camp trailer for the Charters Towers swap meet / car show 2022. This was our first caravan park stay since travelling with our camper and it did not disappoint. We had a beautiful green spacious unpowered site. The camp kitchen area is fantastic, well equipped & has a TV for those footy fans. The communal camp fire near the camp kitchen is so good. Great way to meet people and chat about your travel adventures. The caravan park hosts light this baby up nightly and there is plenty of timber to keep you warm till tucking in. On checking in we were warmly welcomed. Amenities are high standard. Plently of toilets and showers. Showers had great water pressure and heat (especially for this nippy stay that we had). The laundry area, big clothes lines, chook pen and herb garden looked great too. Plenty of bins and an extremely tidy well-kept caravan park. Dalrymple Park is in a great location backing onto the golf course so the views are very relaxing and spacious, while still being near town, which is a very short drive or an easy ½ hour walk. When travelling to Charters again we would stay here in a heart beat!

Thanks to Tanya and Brad for warm welcome we received on our overnight stay. We found the self contained cabin was clean, comfortable and roomy enough for the two of us. Our fur baby was also made to feel welcome at this pet friendly park, she's an outside dog and the safe location made us comfortable about having her there. We loved the complimentary home made date slice, but most especially the fun and friendly environment. Looking forward to our next visit.

Tanya and Brad are really friendly and welcoming . The park is well maintained, facilities are spotless and plenty of natural colour around the park. Mixture of slab and grass sites. About 2 kms out town, which unfortunately is virtually closed on Sundays. Definitely recommend.

Great caravan park - easy to manoeuvre into van sites - quite no traffic noise - amenities very well kept and spaces. Easy to get out and about in Charters Towers from here. Friendly and helpful staff. Rocky road is best ever. Very clean overall.

Very well kept and clean park. The owners were very helpful and were happy to assist with parking your van. Park is very conveniently located. Charters Towers is a great little town to visit, full of history.

During COVID and travel restrictions coming into place we needed a place to stay in our caravan. We chose Dalrymple as we have been here before and this became our base once again. The owners and staff were AMAZING and were so accommodating, especially to be taking in travellers during this time. The park is very well maintained. The sites are large and there is a mix of slab or grassy sites, plus cabins etc. Our kids loved the large pool, the chooks, jumping pillow and the camp fire. The park is surrounded by wide open space for the country feel but still close to town.

We called in here after a very long drive from Ravenshoe. We were going to stop overnight at The Lynd Oasis Roadhouse, however, it was closed so we pushed on for another three hours and on the way a Brahma steer ran into our car and wiped out our driver's side mirror, so not a pleasant day. It was so lovely to finally arrive in Charters Towers and to be met with the lovely owners of this park who found an overnight spot for us with a permanent spot tomorrow and telling us just to get settled and call in the next morning to pay for our stay. The next morning we had a good look around and the park is very neat and pleasant, the amenities are well maintained. There is a lovely veggie garden and beside this is a chook house and the hens are let out in the afternoon and visit all the sites looking for handouts. This park is highly recommended.

Excellent van park, amenities some of the best we have come across. We had a powered grass site backing onto the local Golf Course. Multiple bird species a delight to see as we watched the sun set. The amenities appear to have been updated recently, fresh and clean, multiple WC’s and three good sized shower cubicles with gas hot water in each block. Good sized laundry at one end. Option to order food in from in-house, pool for the kids, fully covered Bar-B-Q area with lights fire pit and TV. Fire pit appeared to be used every night. Good value for money, staff are friendly, helpful and approachable. This park is a three minute drive to Charters Towers main street. Great place for a break in our travels, three nights not enough. We will come back to this one.

Located a couple of kilometres out of the town, this park has many established shade trees and has flat grounds. Road noise was minimal due to the trees. Our camp site was located in a lovely shaded area near the well-equipped camp kitchen. Amenities blocks were kept quite clean. Each evening the gidgee wood fire would be fired up - a great place to meet other travellers, and swap yarns. We will definitely stay here next time in Charters Towers.

This is not the first time staying here for us but we enjoyed it so much last time we decided to return. The Park is very neat and well maintained, the service is excellent and honestly if returning to Charters Towers this would be our only choice of accommodation. xx
