Stunning, beautiful, relaxing, scenic, must do…. Wish we had stayed longer.
We stayed in Ochre Hut which is designed for a couple and if you are looking for a Glamping experience with a bit more, then this is the place for you. The kitchen/dining area was so comfortable to be in, well appointed and with stunning views it was a delight be able to self cater. The fire pit was such an awesome place to relax in front of after dark - we brought fire starters and wood with us although there was some wood provided. The bedroom was huge and bed comfortable although I would say a little sparse.
The outdoor bathroom/ shower was beautiful - not the first time I have experienced this type of facility but have to say this was the most spacious and fully planted, and a space the birds enjoyed as well. To my immense amusement my husband almost ended up with a cassowary chick trying to join him in there one morning.
Speaking of which, the resident Cassowary male was an amazing father to witness, calm and obviously experienced as he had three healthy chicks in tow. We stumbled across them while strolling around checking out the facilities and as we tried to be respectful of their space he kept moving about the environment to keep grazing while keeping an eye on the chicks and us without being threatening, although the chicks were more inquisitive and did get a bit close resulting in us having to go out of our way to get away from them. But what an experience.
The hiking trails looked interesting and we only had time to do the beach track. Although it was not well signed at the road side as it is private, the map at the lodge and Andy’s descriptions were spot on.
We were lucky as a lot of the new huts are not complete yet so felt like a private camping ground, but having said that the distance and screening between each hut means should never seem overrun even at capacity.

We were part of a camping group but lucky enough to stay in one of the recently completed Eco Huts complete with outdoor shower and separate kitchen - an amazing experience. The facilities were first class, we felt really spoilt - it was 'glamping' in style!
The view from sitting on our balcony, listening to the birds and looking in awe at the Daintree was soo relaxing. We squeezed in a couple of walks, especially down along the nearby creeks which were well worth it.

Thanks to COVID and the lack of international travel we were lucky enough to stumble across this absolute gem. We stayed here for a long weekend in February and felt like we could have been anywhere in the world. We were in one of the newly appointed 'eco-huts'. They are described as 'glamping' which I feel is under selling them. I would quite happily live in one. The open air bathroom was a delight in the tropical climate, and the under cover kitchen was fully equiped, even with a weber BBQ! The ground have a plethora of rainforest walks and treks to keep you busy, along with a swimming hole right next to our hut. The friendly owners are around in the eveing to sit and have a drink and a yarn, and they even took us out in their boat for a spot of fishing. Highly recommended if you want the feeling of escape and relaxation!

Set on 500 acres of rainforest this property makes you feel as if you are living right in the middle of it. Open and airy with siding doors and high ceilings so you are exposed to the elements whilst still fully sheltered. We could feel the breeze and listen to the rain literally falling on the leaves at night.

The most beautiful and tranquil stay. Andy and Lynette have cultivated the most relaxing and warm location, a must visit for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the rainforest. Even in the wet season, and after the flooding and storms of late 2022/23, I felt so welcomed and was able to fully relax. Not a single fault - thank you both for your incredible hospitality! It really did feel like just me and the rainforest. A must stay for anyone travelling through the area, and it’s so great to see sustainability in practice, especially for a smaller business who goes the extra mile.

Simply amazing. A slice of heaven in the Daintree. If you’re looking for an off grid experience unlike any other then you’ll find it here. Exquisite grounds, accomodations and facilities. The hosts, Andy and Nettie, will ensure your experience in their rainforest retreat is something you’ll remember forever more. A highlight is their very own rainforest boardwalk complete with private picnic platforms and a meditation deck - not to mention the private swimming hole in crystal clear water babbling over sublime rapids. I can’t recommend this hidden gem highly enough!

A much-anticipated trip with my partner. We stayed in the Bower Hut at Noah Creek Eco Huts for three nights, which was both very comfortable and relaxing. Even though the weather decided to rain all of the nights and most of the days we were still able to get about and enjoy some of the beautiful walks on the property and around the area.
On the first afternoon when we were cooking our dinner in the well-equipped outdoor kitchen, we were visited by one of the local Cassowary which walked right passed our hut, not to be out done the very next morning, early we had another visit from another Cassowary who again walked up right beside us letting us get some great pictures, what an experience. I was also able to get some great photos of many of the birds and the rainforest that we visited.
We were like giggling school kids while having hot showers in the pouring rain in the wonderful outdoor bathroom.
Our wonderful hosts could not have been more helpful and the facilities more than adequate.
Can't wait to return

We travelled from WA and stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 adult daughters, so we took 3 cabins.
The Orche Hut had everything we needed with very well equipped kitchen, comfy chairs and huge outdoor bathroom.
We were surprised at how gorgeous each hut was.
We all explored the walks & water holes - what a fabulous place!
The only suggestion to owners is to invest in electric quad bikes for their work around the property. Waking up to the roar of motorcycles is not really in keeping with the serenity which you have so beautifully created there.

Wow! What a place! We stayed in both the ridge and lodge for a few nights with our two young boys and it was a highlight of our trip to TNQ.
Both houses were fantastic but the ridge house was a standout.
A stunning open air house which was well appointed and surrounded by the rainforest. During the day we read books in the hammock overlooking the forest out to the coral sea, spotted local wildlife including lace monitors, cassowaries and butterflies and explored the nearby waterholes and walks. At night we fell asleep gazing at the stars, watching fireflies dance around us listening to the sounds of the rainforest.
The whole experience was magic!

We stayed in the Bowen hut with it's own outdoor bath, outdoor kitchen and fireplace for 3 days and then moved to an eco hut with shared kitchen. Very pleased we stretched our stay to 5 days as it helped us totally relax and drop into the experience of being in a rain forest environment. Highly recommend if you being away from the tourist trail and being in direct contact with nature. The glamping huts are luxurious esp the Bowen and Ocre huts.
