We were very disappointed with our stay. We stayed in a 3 bed with ensuite and not only had to make our own beds but had to ask for towels as none were offered on checking in. This is backpacker accommodation NOT family accommodation. The room was dirty and dark and the quality of the beds/linen very poor. The nightly...

My second visit to the Beach House and the experience was amazing as i expected. I had to check in late and the staff organised myself and a few others a 'late check in' pack. That made me feel pretty special and well looked after. The restaurant is right on the beach and you're surrounded by nature. Dinner was perfect...

We stayed here for 3 nights from 3rd December on arrival the Receptionist told me you're been upgraded nice although he added it should cost another $100 then proceeded on his sales pitch of which tours we should do I hate being hassled and took an instant dislike to him, eventually he showed me on a map where our luxurious...

Well first let me say that I have spent today considering my response to this. I love the Beach House and how we give so many memories to people. I love the people that work here and the service they provide. It is because of this that I like anyone can get a little rattled by criticism. I don't want...

We arrived around 7.45pm after a drive from Cairns Airport. Although the reception area was closed they made sure our keys were left at the front of reception with a lovely welcome note. We made it just in time for dinner as dinner finishes at 8pm. It was a great relaxed atmosphere in the dinning area kind of like a...

A friendly team, a relaxing time, great for the family. Stayed 5 nights. Great beach spot. Off grid, like you are in another time and place. Good cheap food and booze. Plenty of activities nearby. Really feel like you are living in the forest/on the beach.

Stayed for two nights. Very basic but that is exactly what you want.Wandered down to the beach to see Sunrise. A croc swam by he was massive. One of my fav breaks would go again and again. The whole resort blended in to the forest.

Stayed here as part of a tour. Advertised as beach accommodation but in fact your in the rainforest but would recommend it as you can head to the beach to watch the sun come up. Our dorm was a 4 bed dorm which we had to ourselves which was nice. Can only describe it as a plywood box though. Very...

On arrival we didn´t get the best customer service we have had (apparently the receptionist was having a bad day or she really didn´t know how to smile), but everything else was ok. Not the best cleanliness in the kitchen or the dorms, but it was ok according to the price and the location. If you are on a budget...
