What a little gem is hidden in the forest below the beautiful mountains...spotless, beautifully appointed and o so welcoming, we could have stayed forever. Mary, Paul and Toffee were the very best hosts we could ask for - just fantastic! Everything was just perfect and the little touches such as delicious museli and other treats were so appreciated. We can't wait to return.

We stayed for 3 nights recently on our first visit to Cape Tribulation. Staying on this wonderful property is an experience in itself with the huge palms surrounding the pavilions and easy access to the rain forest. The pavilions are very well equiped with lots of extra little luxuries. Being off grid for electricity was not a problem with the solar system providing everything necessary. Mary and Paul ( and Toffee) were welcoming and friendly hosts providing lots of information without being at all intrusive. Would definitely recommend Mist and will return as soon as we can

We had a wonderful stay at Mist on our trip to Cape Tribulation. We were in Unit 2 and it was perfect inside and out with a nice deck and day bed to spend hours reading and relaxing after exploring. Lovely touches included were the walking and wildlife guides which we used, and some fridge items. Paul was a great host and even took the time to print out his Cape Trib to Cooktown must do list for us. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Highly recommend a stay at Mist while exploring Cape Tribulation! A beautiful pavilion with everything we needed and more. Excellent location and so serene. Paul and Mary greeted us on arrival and were so welcoming. They provided us with all the top places and spots to see/do, and their pooch Toffee provided excellent concierge service (mainly checking in for head scratches and belly rubs). We will definitely be back again for a visit!
