We found the rooms clean, spacious and were not aware of any noise.
Were most impressed with their supply of amenities - shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shaving cream, tissues plus a coffee machine. Most of these were sadly lacking in most motels we stayed.
The parking shaded the car completely from sun and hail - again not always possible in some motels.
Due to Covid the kitchen was closed but chose to have a home cooked meal prepared by the owners and delivered to the room. This we thoroughly enjoyed.
Also noted the milk supplied on arrival was fresh full cream rather than “long life”.

Biloela is a town "with its boots on." This courtyard motel is on a main road in an industrial area but we were not disturbed by light or noise from highway or local businesses. Our room was clean and large, our bed was comfortable, air-con was quiet and efficient. Small frig and a hospitality tray were provided. TV and wifi were fine. Vanity basin/sink is external to bathroom which has a walk-in shower.
We had an excellent meal at the Hotel Settlers restaurant across the road.

The first impression you get when driving off the Dawson Highway is just how spacious the area is. And the rooms follow that same dimension! We had so much space, possibly one of the largest rooms we've ever enjoyed and with all the facilities and amenities one could wish for. No Restaurant available, so we went over the road to enjoy the fare at the Hotel Settlers. Despite the occasional highway noise, we had a good sleep here and would be very happy to stay again.

Room was very clean. This was the saving grace. Room was across from Settlers Hotel that was ok for evening meals.

No evening meal service. Breakfast was very hard 'poached' eggs. Toast was cold. Many better options available.

Great place to stop and chill after a long drive. Easy access and even easier booking in. Staff so kind and helpful. Decent parking for 4wd and easy access to the pool. Restaurant closed but was directed to the pub across the road. Great to see town team work happening. Beds were super comfortable.

I have stayed here a couple of times, and ate at the restaurant each stay. This time, we were staying at another hotel, but decided to go to Silo for dinner. We ended up waiting over 50 minutes for Garlic Bread, and that was once I asked for it after 40 minutes. The owner, Grant, seemed more interested in selling alcohol and offered for me to purchase peanuts to satisfy my hunger. At no stage was there an apology for the poor service, instead an excuse of 'we're really busy tonight' was offered, and that this was not a 'fast food restaurant'. We ended up paying for the garlic bread and the 2 drinks we purchased and walked out. This was after Grant saying that the main's were 'less than 10 minutes away'. I don't think I'll be eating here again as previous times whilst the service was slow, it was not this poor.

We were pleased by the general presentation and cleanliness of this small motel. The bathroom was spotless, although we found the location of the hand basin outside of the bathroom to be unusual. Before we arrived, one of our hosts rang to explain that the onsite restaurant would be closed for dinner due to staff illness. This was customer service at its best. While it's on the highway, the road noise was negligible, although you could hear passing trucks as is expected. We were able to walk to the main shopping area for a few supplies and our room had the usual small country motel facilities. Breakfast was available to order.

Motel is extremely well presented both inside and out. Rooms are very spacious and well appointed. Bathroom was spotless - looked very new. Onsite restaurant and in room dining available. Food was amazing - not cheap, but still good value. Undercover parking at front of room, and only a minutes drive from main shopping area in Bilo. Looking forward to staying again!

Delonghi coffee maker with superb pods. Plenty of milk, tea etc. Large, renovated room with comfortable beds. Excellent service. Own restaurant was closed, but suggestions made by the owner were good. Aircon motor was a bit noisy, but otherwise I could not fault the place.

The owners of the Silo Motor Inn, Judith and Grant, are the most wonderful and helpful people. They were able to accomodate our family at very short notice and quite late in the evening too. We were traveling from Nth QLD to NSW, and in quite some distress, Judith was able to arrange a family sized room, access to the key after hours and also offered a cooked breakfast the next morning. Just the warmth we needed at that time. Flexibility, understanding and empathy.
The room was wonderful. Clean, spacious and everything we needed. The bathroom is modern and clean. Air conditioned with space to sit and eat while watching the cable TV. Beds were comfortable and clean.
I can't recommend this motor inn enough. The perfect place to stay in comfort, in a quiet area. Thank you for your wonderful service Judith and Grant.
