Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here due to the on-site restaurant and parking right outside your ground-floor room. Although it’s located on the Burnett Highway, we didn’t hear any traffic noise. The management (who I think were new) were friendly and efficient. Our Deluxe Queen room was smallish but OK for an overnight’s stay and the bathroom was tiny. The amenities included a new small bar fridge, TV, microwave and kettle and contained most things you would need including a comfortable bed. The small restaurant was adequate with a limited menu. The meals were fine – thoroughly enjoyed the Lamb Cutlets ($30). Would stay here again.

We've stayed here before; 12 years ago as it turns out. This place saved our lives during an extremely hot summer back then - an oasis of comfort with a cooling pool. This year, midwinter, it is a comfortable overnighter for us heading home to the Far North while avoiding the madhouse roadworks on the Bruce Highway. It is, above all, QUIET. Sleep is easy in these comfortable rooms, set well back from the Burnett Highway. Do yourselves a favour!

We stayed over night here while we were travelling through to Bilo. It’s a great hotel with friendly service. The rooms were well priced and clean. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant and the meals were quick, huge and tasted great. Definitely recommend.

Stopping overnight with my husband and I - room very comfortable and staff helpful. Best thing was the meal that we had in the onsite Restaurant. Was amazing value for money and the food was sensational. Salt and Pepper calamari with salad for me and chicken parmi with veges and mash for my husband (Mushroom sauce also). He could not say enough accolades about the meal.

Great option for solo travellers. I stayed in one of the king single rooms and it was very comfortable. Internet access and shower water pressure were amazing. Would recommend bringing some togs and a towel to jump in the pool to cool off.

Ours was a last minute stay. We arrived late and unexpected but were very welcome. Had a nice dinner in the restaurant with very friendly service. Price per room is reasonable. Road noise was not an issue but there were a few early rising mine workers. Didn't worry us though. Nice visit.

I stayed here for 2 nights. There was a friendly welcome at check-in, an above-average motel room, and very little traffic noise. The room appeared to be refurbished and did not have that usual stale smell you often find in motel rooms. There was a microwave, bar fridge, wine glasses, hair drier and a decent shower. Overall a good experience and I will definitely stay here again next time.

If your looking for a big, expensive experience don't bother coming here. If however your after a very clean and tidy, although a little dated, place to stay then look no further. Loved having a microwave to heat up a meal and any place that has free in rooom wi-fi get a massive two thumbs up. It's my hotel of choice when I stay in Biloela.

I stayed here for four nights over Christmas due to work in the area. Bob and Donna were very accommodating, the rooms have undergone some good upgrades since last time I was there. I find the feedback below interesting as I had no dramas at all when using the wifi. The meals were great home-style meals (they even delivered a roast with a Christmas Bon Bon to my room on Christmas Day). Thanks again, see you next time.

Bob and Donna are a marvellous pair. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with friendly welcomes. Even though I rang at 8pm Donna was friendly and accommodating to our needs. We have been at other motels that are rude for e.g. the hubby said "hi mate how are you going" and the other motel bloke said "thats not what I want to hear!" So even though you see a."three star" plaque on the front door of reception my hubby and I give the Countryman 5 stars for cleanliness and friendliness. We will choose this motel everytime we are in Biloela and recommend it to our friends and family. Cheers Mark and Shontelle- Bundaberg
