Very comfortable and clean. Being close to town we spent 3 nights (intended to stay only 1) but the park was very welcoming. Ben and Tay very good hosts. Have arvosmoko and entertainment. Also very good Chinese on Friday and Saturday nights

Owners were very friendly and helpful. Park has various size sites with most grassed. It was very busy during our stay. Amenities are good and scattered about. There is a Happy Hour each afternoon with a singer, fresh baked damper and billy tea - yummy. There is a petrol station attached which also sells some groceries. It is walking distance... More

Enjoyed our 2 day stay and miss the damper and billy tea already. Special night on 18th celebrating 50 years since battle of Long Tan. Four hours of wonderful entertainment and a free 3 course meal. Great singing by Chris Callaghan. Disc. for seniors and 2c off petrol an added bonus. Toilets probably need some up-dates but on the whole... More

We were to stay 1 night but due to flooding on the road to Longreach stayed 3. Close to town and friendly people. Loved the damper, Billy's tea and Chris callaghan's singing. Amenities really need an update and clean. Though to be fair there was lots of mud and water around. We were given a site where we could leave... More

You do get what you pay for though I'm not sure $75 is reasonable for a double cabin. I'd say $50 more reasonable. It's noisy here in the cabin out the front as its basically at the entrance to the service station. The roon is tiny such that it is difficult to walk around the room when there is two... More

Walking distance to town centre in Barcaldine. Mostly grassy sites. Very average amenities. Entertainment every evening at 4pm. Park provides free afternoon smoko with tea & cake. Good Chinese food on sale Friday & Sat nights. Best place to stay to explore Barcaldine.

Cheap, basic and right on the highway. The cabins are timber and have a bed (Queen), table & chairs (outdoor), fridge (bar) and microwave. The bathroom is quite large. You get what you pay for and this is not any different. Average accommodation.

We stayed 2 nights with our pop up on a powered site, basic amenities but good facilities.Free wi fi,book exchange, shop,Discounted petrol, pensioner discount, busking entertainment and free damper with billy tea. Teaming with native bird life ,friendly helpful mangers ,nothing was too much trouble.would recommend staying there as long as you don't expect luxury.

Arrived late on Monday night after travelling close to 1100 clicks from Brisbane that day. As soon as I stepped out of the car the experience starting with gidday and welcome to Barcaldine. That from the manager of the park who was sitting on the stairs watching the world go by. Into the office and I could have any site... More

We stayed 2 nights in a powered site. We were lucky enough to be there on a Saturday night, as you can buy home cooked Chinese food. The food was very nice, not overly spiced like most Chinese food you buy. Cost $15 a container and you can choose whatever you like. I've never seen someone get so much food... More
