This is a great Pub owned by Serge who has been there since 1970. A lot of history and country hospitality here. We stopped as a group and had a wonderful time. The rooms are basic but very clean and more than adequate a short walk through the restaurant from the bar. The meals were fabulous. Showers were like warm...

The Union Hotel offers quality service, clean modern en-suite rooms and old fashioned country food in the Witches Kitchen. Family run for 45 years the Union is only 100mts from the Tree of Knowledge. Guiness on tap, Keno & pokies, or just catch up in the bar & chat to locals.

Hotel has been in family for almost 45 years. Has always provided great accommodation, catering and of course, the bar is a very friendly place. Rooms including amenities are spotless; always plenty of food on the plate; and the best beer in town! Walking distance to all the fantastic attractions and services.

After a long days travel from Emerald on the QR150 steam train, I was looking forward to a cleansing ale at the Union to wash down the soot and dust and nice home cooked meal. After showing me my room and cranking up the air-con, Serge looked after the ale by way of a Guinness or Kilkenny on tap. Serge...

This hotel once had the youngest licensee in Australia when the licence was bought by a 23 year old. We particularly liked it for its old world charm and friendly staff. It's also very close (walking distance) to the showgrounds where you can camp in space with good showers.
