Hotel's Favourite
This is our second visit to this motel, first time in the new apartment section. The apartments are very large with great views over the tablelands. Spotlessly clean with all the mod cons including kitchenette, fridge/freezer, coffee pod maker, huge and comfortable bed. The bathroom is modern with plentiful hot water and large shower area (although alas, like many hotels these days, the water escapes all over the bathroom). The owners are very friendly and gave takeaway suggestions (as it was a Monday night and most places were closed). If you stay on a night the Pagoda Chinese Restaurant in the car park is open, I recommend the restaurant too.
These apartments and rooms fill up very fast with workers and coach groups so make sure you book well ahead. The part ends are short drive out, on the edge of town but we wouldn’t stay anywhere else and will return.

We stayed 3 nights at the Atherton Motel’s new deluxe suites, which were fabulous!
Our spacious suite contained a really comfortable king bed, extra pillows and blankets if necessary, free wifi, a large wall-mounted smart TV, kitchenette with sink and kitchen appliances including fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, automatic Lavazza coffee machine and attractive dinnerware and cutlery.
The bathroom was amazing, so clean and beautifully fitted out. Plenty of fresh towels were available. The L’Occitane bath products were a lovely surprise.
There was also a balcony where you could sit out and enjoy views of the picturesque tablelands.
Our hosts were very warm and welcoming and the daily cleaners did a fabulous job.
As an added bonus, a very good Chinese restaurant is attached to the motel. The suites are more expensive than the regular motel rooms, but well worth it if like us, you don’t get away often and want to spoil yourself! We will definitely be back in a couple of years.

Stayed here for 3 nights, 1st nigh in an older room that was below par and in need of renovation that is scheduled. Next 2 nights were in a deluxe room that was well above average with a modern ensuite, web based TV with microwave & toaster.
Check in was quick and friendly, and Rob (Manager) assisted in getting some documents printed for me.
The bed is good and comfortable, as out the pillows, free wi fi was also good.
Pagoda Chinese restaurant is next door which serves good food. Breakfast needs to be ordered the night before although I didn't use this option.
You can park the car in front of the door and expect the deluxe room would bee best available option in Atherton

Enjoyed one night stay here for nostalgic reasons as I stayed here for a few nights 30 years ago just prior to starting teaching at Atherton High. The rooms have not changed that much from 30 years ago, particularly the bathrooms! But it is clean, the bedding was comfortable and the kitchenette quite well-equipped, with essential appliances, an electric frypan, wine glasses etc. Budget hotel without the budget price but neat, attractive gardens, and lovely mountain outlook from the little front patio off each room. They have new deluxe rooms at the back but they were particularly pricey. Nice quiet spot though with friendly, helpful service.

Stayed here 2 nights. The owners are very friendly and helpful. O stayed in a deluxe room. This has been updated with modern fittings and furnishings that are stylish and comfortable. The room was clean and serviced daily.
The location is ideally positioned as the hub for the Atherton Tablelands and all on offer there. The motel has good views to the north over the farming area.
Will definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it.

I stayed here at the Atherton motel for work purposes, stayed for almost 3 weeks. The room was just perfect for me. Tv, microwave, electric plate, fridge all available for me to use. The owner rob and Carolyn are just beautiful people they treat you like royalty and will do anything to make your stay even more comfortable. Their is one carport available per room but their is plenty of parking spaces nearby if needed. Great location fully recommend this place to stay.

I stayed here for about 4 weeks. I had come to Atherton for work purposes.
The owners Carolyn and Rob, their staff all were just fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble, always willing to help or give tips and advice on where to go and what to see.
The room was clean, kitchenette had all i needed. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The view from the room was beautiful and I loved looking at the stars at night and watching both the sun set and rise.
Thank you. When I am coming back through, I will be sure to stay.

This place is not bad for overnight stay in Atherton. If you have a vehicle higher than 2.2 it will not fit undercover. Beds are not soft but slept well overnight. Pillows are very soft but heaps to make it comfortable. No cold water in the sink only Hot. Lovely owners and helpful.

Disappointed with the room for the money. I live on the road for work and am in motels 4-5 night a week. This one was one that let me down. Very friendly at reception but the room for the money was way off point. Cleaning must have been optional but there was a can of Glen 20 in the room if I wanted to clean it myself. Sorry to say but I will be finding something else next time in the area..
