Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Wallaby Room could sleep 5 people and the room was well maintained, a beautiful big walk around deck, the kitchen was spacious and well presented with all your needs. Short drive to town and to all the tourist spots. My only complaint would be the driveway in and out needed attention, there was a large wash out on the road down as you leave the parking area on the right that you could easily drop into if you were driving a larger vehicle. Overall a great spot to base yourself to explore.

A lovely, purpose built B&B. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen facilities are great.
My only comment would be to ask if you could please remove/replace the brand-new barbed wire fencing between the property and the conservation area. There are cheaper alternatives that are wildlife friendly and also, don't give a nasty impression to guests.

We arrived late afternoon on Saturday and after finally getting the access code by phoning the contact number (he apologised as he had not sent the code through to us for the key locker) we entered the main kitchen of the property and there was 2 clothes airers with washing all other them. We should not have to look at someone elses jocks and socks each time we go into the kitchen area of the property - it was disturbing to say the least.

On inspection of our room (the Wallaby room) we discovered hair on the shower wall and the ceiling fan was also filthy. Not to a standard that we would expect when booking a property such as this

The Summit Bed & Breakfast

Atherton

We booked to stay a night in this lovely bed-and-breakfast but unfortunately we found that two of our group contracted Covid immediately before we were due to arrive. Despite the fact that they had a no refund policy Paula willingly agreed to refund my payment. I have to say they have been the most positive establishment. Paula has been the most helpful by far in my situation. Some of the hotels have refused to waiver the cancellation fees, so I am going to try very hard to promote this establishment as much as I can ! We live in France and I am not sure that we will be able to return to Australia but I will tell all our friends and, if we do manage to come to the area, we will certainly come to this B&B.
I will do you reviews on several sites even though we were unable to stay with you ( very sadly).
Naturally, I cannot comment on your B & B regarding its facilities etc., but the approach of Paula and her understanding has been excellent.
With many thanks.
Pete
