Interesting place, great location, very close to Peninsula Hot Springs, the Bay beach at Rye, Rye surf beach and wineries, golf etc. The African Cottage is spacious and the spa generous. The king bed is comfortable. Other amenities are a little dated - tiny shower head, poor water pressure, rot in the windows and small TV in the corner. The...

We received a two night stay at Hilltonia Homestead as a gift. We had a great time down in Rye, but if I'm honest Hilltonia Homestead did not contribute greatly to the weekend. The room we stayed in was in desperate need of a refresh. For the price listed, I don't think it's worth it. On the upside - it...

My partner and I visited in January 2017 for two nights to visit potential wedding venues in the area and were horrified at the lack of attention the cottage has received and is in desperate need of. The timber on the balcony is rotten and falling apart, the fan in the bathroom sounds like a jet taking off and only...

This could be a really good place to stay but looks very neglected and not much thought has been put into improving it. Opposite the entrance drive to the Hot Springs and about 20 mins walk we decided to stay here as we had been given dinner & bathe package at the Springs so thought we would have a lovely...

We stayed for one saturday night in the Victoria cottage. It was a gorgeous secluded cottage, with killer views from the balcony and a romantic and comfortable 4 poster bed. We were provided ingredients to cook our own fry up in the morning (you can also opt to go to main building and have it cooked for you). I would...

We stayed at Hiltonia 3 years ago and were blown away with the grounds, hosts and our accommodation. I wish we had not gone back. From the minute we pulled into the driveway we realised things had changed. The gardens were not green, no beautiful roses up the driveway and it looked almost sad. We were greeted by our host...

We stayed at Hiltonia for a relaxing getaway, loved the idea of themed rooms plus how close it was to the Hot Springs. We stayed in the African themed room and absolutely loved it! It was exactly like the pictures, really private and super cosy. The spa bath was the highlight, not to mention the views and the extremely comfy...

My husband and I stayed in this B & B in the Mornington Peninsula in January for 4 nights. We loved Hilltonia Homestead's central location across from the Peninsula Springs where we went one evening. The Mediterranean cottage where we stayed was spacious, clean and had a nice warm feeling about it and we loved the peace, quite and privacy...

Really confused on how to review this place. Great location across the road from hot springs. We booked the African cottage for relaxation and luxury. Room looked beautiful. But in the evening realized the fire place heater actually didn't work. When tried to make a bath there the ants everywhere inside the bath tub and around. Yes I could have...

I really liked this BnB. Stayed in a themed cottage with my partner, due to its proximity to Peninsula Springs. Was very pleased with the quality and warmth of the room. Had little to do with the hosts due to late arrival and early check out, but everything was made very simple and easy for us. Recommend if going to...
