I was worried after reading other reviews but was assured new owners had taken over early February and cleaned up the place. We were looking for cheap 2 bedroom as travelling with a friend and we wanted to eat breakfast and dinner at accom. The apartment was SPOTLESS, crisp white sheets, new kitchen stuff, etc etc. It sleeps 6 so if holidaying with family a cheap place. It was a bit noisy but if you are on a budget and happy with basic it is good.

Stayed here on the last leg of our 2 week holiday for 3 nights. From the outside, looks like budget accommodation but inside is so clean and comfortable. Our self contained apartment had everything we needed with the appliances looking brand new.
Across the road is the beach. But this road is a major one (Point Nepean Road) and is constantly busy, so be careful crossing. I thought at night time the traffic would keep me up but it did not, slept peacefully.
The apartment we stayed could have accommodated 6 people, fantastic for a large family or a group of friends. A great stay.

We have just returned from a short stay at these apartments. Having been a little concerned re other reviews we found a neat and clean 2 bedroom flat with comfortable beds basic kitchen utensils, microwave, decent size fridge and clean stove. Don't hesitate to stay here across the road from the beach and not far from Onshore Cafe which was good value for breakfast.

My son and I went on a fishing weekend during Australia day weekend 2021.
Appon arrival We were greeted by a no name but temporary manager as he mentioned and introduced himself as. He was the most rude total unprofessional type attitude that I and others had ever experienced. Basically made to feel as I was trespassing and demanding details in a very loud voice. The whole weekend was met with many other uncalled for aggressive situations not only towards my son and I but to many other guessed who knocked on my door stating they had had the same experience but due to long weekend I and they couldn't find elsewhere to turn to in such short notice. It was a weekend from hell spending as little time as possible on the property . I contacted the actual owner to avoid this review, I itemized all in detail about all that happened to myself and other guests but unfortunately he never responded. Yes cheap, yes nasty RUDE people and HORRIBLE service.

We stayed there whilst at a competition locally. We were greeted with no contact due to COVID. The hosts were lovely and texted us to check in. The linen was clean and utensils, crockery and floor was clean also. A recent renovation, felt like we were stepping back in time which was awesome. Very private and secluded - we had a top apartment which was great at the corner. BBQ facilities and outside setting was awesome. Will be back!!!

The outside of the complex is very humble but inside are very clean, quiet, well equipped and comfortable apartments. They are just across the road from the beach, just down the road from Rye and well located for other Peninsula attractions. They are excellent value and would be perfect for a family.

We stayed here over the Easter break. What an amazing block of apartments. The room was so clean and had everything possible in them. Home away from home. They had games and a grassed area for kids to play which was fantastic. The road was busy but you didn't hear it. When we return to Rye we will be staying her again without a second thought. Thank you for a wonderfully clean and well appointed unit.

My partner and I enjoyed 3 fantastic nights at Rye Family Apartments. Located directly opposite the beach. Great for couples or families. Under new Management. Apartments have been recently renovated. Very comfortable with all things available to make your stay enjoyable. A good size fridge a stand out. Rooms are spacious. Very friendly on site managers who are there to satisfy your every need if required. Quiet location notwithstanding the busy Nepean Hwy. We were in Apartment 2 (2nd closest to the road) and never had a problem with road noise especially during the night. Cars under shelter with a large open space with large shady trees. Good size BBQ.

This is very basic accommodation and needs a good clean. No fly screens on windows, so cannot open windows on cool nights without having insects fly in. Limited kitchen utensils and poor facilities. Would not recommend

We are very disappointed with this review. Our staff are working very hard to refurbish these apartments and although a couple (not all) of fly screens were missing (being replaced/repaired) the apartments are certainly not dirty nor lacking in the usual kitchen utensils. We do not consider the provision of cooking oil, cling-wrap or foil as "usual" in self-contained apartments. The bathrooms and kitchens have been updated, furniture replaced and new linen provided so we welcome any inspection and offer a full refund if not satisfied upon arrival.
