Did a last minute booking (2 nights) for these apartments. Price was very reasonable compared to others in the area so I had my doubts about its quality, opened the door and got a big surprise. Apartment is quiet well sized looks to have be been recently refurbished, was very clean and neat. The bedrooms are well sized, bathroom very large and living area well sized. Kitchen was well stocked. Parking undercover. The Main Street and beach are right on the doorstep. Great little apartments.

We stayed at the moonlit apparartments for 3 nights. Super close to everything. Just a short walk down to the pier or the shops.
Staff were super friendly and happy to help us with any needs.
Even though it wasn't hot enough to swim the pool was heated and warm enough to swim.
If your staying in rye with a young family I definitely recommend staying here.
If you don't want to spend any money out for dinner, the room was equipped with all your cooking needs including a stove top oven and fridge

Our ground floor king spa studio was spacious, extremely clean with a well equipped kitchen for our 5 night stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable for my back with good quality linen. Such a great location, 5 minutes to the Rye pier, beach and cafes. We did enjoy a few swims in the heated pool even though the weather was a bit cool.
I suggest you request a ground floor room when booking with the office if you prefer not to climb the steps.
We will definitely stay here again now we have found Moonlight Bay Apartments!

The location was great - very central. Parking is good; undercover, near to the apartment. Facilities are ok, but I thought an apartment would have a washer and dryer, but this didn't. Otherwise, amenities are adequate. Fridge was large, microwave, crockery, cutlery, etc. were ok. Couch was old, dirty, stained, and not comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean. The bed was fine. The air conditioner smelt musty; it struggled, but I found the filter was totally clogged with dust and dirt - not ideal.

We stayed for 3 nights in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed.

The location is brilliant. 1 minute walk to the main street/beach/cafes/restaurants! Perfect.

Kids loved the pool.

One really slight negative was the main bedroom in our apartment shared a wall with the main bedroom of the apartment next door and all 3 mornings we were woken by the occupants next door between 5.50am and 6.00am. No fault of theirs as they weren't being overly loud, there is just no sound proofing between the rooms. Take ear plugs.

I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for a week in Jan 2021 with family of 4. Location is amazing. Walk to shops, restaurants and of course the beach just outside your door. Our room was one of the bigger ones with 2 bedrooms and a lounge and kitchen. It was away from the pool which we preferred. It has a great pool which was heated (that was surprising being during summer time) but loved it you could go in at any time. We had a king size bed which was great. Clean and well equipped with BBQ onsite and great private parking. Most famous ice cream shop in Rye just outside our door. Staff were great. Will come again.

The rooms are lovely, spacious and modern. Loved the decor, big comfortable bed and effective heating on a cold winter’s night. Super convenient at the centre of town. Friendly and helpful team at the front desk. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment. Very noisy, easily heard the young couple next door having 'fun'. The walkways and stairs provided non stop noise from other guests. Close to main street and the bay wich was handy. Reception was very smelly from a seemingly chain smoking owner. The roomes were very clean and amenities ok. Having an apartment we expected a washing machine and dryer but had to use the communal one. Car parking is very very tight and if you value your car maybe park on the street if carpark near full. Having our door or blinds open leaves you in full view of the owners straight across the balcony. Not a nice sight seeing them do whatever they do, washing hanging out and having them invade your privacy. Only stayed as we thought it was a resort and the pics looked great. Was deceived big time by the pics. Anyway, enough of my complaining I think you get the message. This is far from a resort. Really a 3 Star Motel.
