Recently travelled to Rye on the Mornington Peninsula and enjoyed a short stay at the Aquabelle apartments located in the main street. The apartment had plenty of light, a balcony and all the facilities needed for a short or extended stay. The location is perfect the calm waters of the bay are across the road and it is only a short drive to enjoy the ocean at the Rye back beach. Rye has a great range of eateries from pubs, clubs, fine dining and cafes. Try Ruby Modern Thai

We spent 2 delightful days at Aquabelle 4. This 2 bedroom apartment, with 2 ensuites, has a large balcony with a sea view. The apartment is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the location is fabulous. On arrival the lamps were lit and the TV audio was playing soft jazz, which was all very relaxing and inviting. Beautifully furnished and in a fabulous central location opposite the Rye Pier, and in the midst of the local shops, cafes, restaurants. Messages and emails from Donna provided us with all the check-in information we needed, and when we had one question on arrival our call was answered immediately by Vesna. It couldn't have been a better stay.

Two of my adult daughters and I stayed at Aquabelle over the Queen's Birthday weekend in a 3 bedroom apartment. Finding the secure car parking at the rear of the property and getting into the apartment was easy thanks to the hosts' easy-to- follow emailed directions. There are no keys to lose as access is by keypads which was great.
The heater, soft lighting and catchy music welcomed us to a tastefully appointed apartment. Each bedroom had its own split system, ceiling fans and very comfortable beds while the showers in the two bathrooms were excellent.
The apartment is very quiet and has an awesome view of the sea. Its location is second to none.
The only thing to be aware of is the (internal) long flight of stairs you have to climb to reach the apartment which is on the first floor.
We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a classy, comfortable base from which to explore the Mornington Peninsular. Our family would not hesitate to stay here if we visited the area again.

We have stayed at this apartment before and it is absolutely beautiful. The bed is so comfy, and everything is sparkling clean.
It is in a great location right opposite the beach in town and it is fitted out with everything you need, right down to beach towel and bag.

We have been having a wonderful time at Aquabelle apartments for years now. We simply love spending time in Rye and we love staying at the Aquabelle apartments. We had stayed in just about every single one of them, except apartment No 5.
Due to Covid-19 we have missed our holidays and short stays here, so we were sooooooooo excited when we finally got a chance to spend one weekend in Rye. We booked apartment No 5, looking forward to some great family time, relaxing, enjoying outdoors and watching movies together. I really feel uncomfortable writing this review because we have always left 5-star reviews for Aquabelle apartments, and we really love spending time here. However, this time and in apartment No5, everything was different. Unfortunately, we actually did not enjoy our stay this time because we were not able to spend that much quality time together in the living room, enjoying each other’s company. It pains me to say but the wooden bench and the plastic chairs were just about the most comfortable thing to sit on in this apartment.
The two couches were like a trap, easy to get in but unfortunately and due to a wear and tear, they gave in just about every bit of comfort over the years. We do understand that Covid-19 has impacted just about everyone, including our family, however when you pay $395.00 per night, you expect to be able to sit comfortably with your family for a great night in, which we unfortunately were not able to do so. Couches were so worn out and uncomfortable, that none of us could really sit on them for more than few minutes. We just need you guys to please sit and try watching TV and see how uncomfortable that is for your guests. Long story short, it is time to change couches so that guests can enjoy magnificent ocean views that this apartment offers and can have a great family time together.
Time to replace or at least properly clean the microwave, so that guests can have confidence that is okay to use it. Beds in this apartment are past their use by date as well when it comes to a decent night sleep. Perhaps you can look at this as well at some stage.
We love spending time at your apartments, and we will be coming back for years to come. We just need to be comfortable while staying there.

I booked an apartment 5 that overlooks the Pier beach front. The apartment was beautiful, modern and well stocked with essentials. And right off the Main Street so great location.
Check in and check out process was easy and owners very prompt responding to questions.
The only thing I would flag is for elderly people or people with injuries, access is via a set of steep steps (about 20) so may prove difficult (although there are hand rails to assist).

Always a pleasure to stay in these apartments. We enjoyed many great places such as Foxeys Hangout vineyard, Ocean Eight winery, St. Andrews Brewery is always a must along with Red Gum BBQ.
Kids enjoyed visit to Big Goose and Borneo maze and mini golf along with the large playground and pier directly across the road.
My only gripe with the apartment for the price you pay is one should have towels and toilet paper replenished when staying 7 nights. Overall a lovely place to stay right in the heart of everything.

Thank you TTHoops for reviewing your stay and highlighting the many attractions you visited during your stay. So glad you enjoyed the apartment during your return to Rye. I do apologise for the lack of extra toilet paper (there should have been plenty of spare rolls in both bathroom cupboards/drawers) and will address this issue moving forward with our crew. Extra towels are also kept in the closets of both bedrooms but regardless, you should have not have to go without during a week long stay! Beautiful apartment with everything you need for a couple of days or a week stay. Very easy to follow instructions to find the studio and to enter the secure premises. The owners are easy to reach by phone if needed. It is very close to the beach pier, many cafes/casual restaurants and Woolworths. The bed in #7 is comfortable with great cooling/heating throughout. Nespresso coffee pod machine to use with ample pods for a couple of days. Full size fridge and washing machine. The parking underneath is quite small but could still fit a large 4wd. There is extra parking outside the gates which is unrestricted (except over summer months until the end of April) The outside of the building is nothing flash but the inside was perfect for our stay.

A great apartment overlooking the Rye pier. It is well appointed, modern and comfortable. The location is is within walking distance to local shops and a short drive to Sorrento and Portsea for shopping and restaurants.

We had a trip interstate cancelled due to COVID and found Aquabelle at the last minute, which we were so glad we did. We stayed in Apartment 2 which met our expectations and was true to the photos online.
It was full of natural light and became quite warm with the winter sun coming through the massive glass window/doors leading out on to a balcony which had beautiful views of the bay. Sitting outside at night rugged up with the beautiful knitted blankets was peaceful and relaxing. The kids loved having the chrome cast so they could watch their shows streamed from our phones.
The furniture and beds in particular were so comfy we didn’t want to get out in the mornings and the skylights made a difference with natural light streaming in rather than having the lights on when it was a little gloomy outside. The kitchen had all that we needed even though we went out for dinner or got take away most nights and enjoyed the apartment. The bathrooms were beautiful especially the big bath which the kids absolutely loved as it was bigger than the one at home. The apartment was big enough for a family with plenty of room to not feel on top of each other.
Next time we will definitely be staying for longer and try in the summer as it’s the perfect spot for the beach. We will be back again!!!
