After booking and pre paying 6 months ahead and looking forward to a special birthday celebration l was very disappointed small and noises room from the staff that were all very not over friendly and the many mistakes that were made from not leaving a card with a bottle of wine that was paid for and left in our room... One of my clients recommended Peppers and at our surprise it was a bad experience for my birthday. What we found the hardest with peppers is getting information out of the staff. On the Saturday night we decided to stay in an experience the lounge and bar, the bar tender was on a different planet as he mumbled back to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in a Garden Deluxe Spa room, the rooms are not massive but I guess you don't need much, the bath was nice and fits 2 adults. The breakfast was yummy. Staying here was an expensive splurge, not sure it was really worth it compared to all the other nice accommodation in and around Daylesford... More

This Accommodation is simply amazing!! Big roomy rooms (more like apartments) in a nice setting. The reason I have rated this place lower is because of the spa, I had a facial (if you can call it that) and was really unimpressed. Usually you are supposed to get a consult IE concerns, contraindications, what would you like to improve -... More

Peppers at the mineral springs is so beautiful. From the sleeping to the lounge area to the food and staff. One of our favourite parts was Jarrod at breakfast each morning. His friendly and attentive personality made us feel special - like we mattered a lot. He never had to ask things twice - after the first morning, he knew... More

The Spa room allocated to us was 211 which was well layer out did not have a balcony. I contacted the reception to request a room with a balcony. Initially, this was not possible but 10 min later they had managed to move things around and we had a lovely room with the balcony. Its a grand old building, with... More

Spent one night here and was amazing. A treatment at the spa started my relaxing stay, and the wonderful accommodation unit I was in was huge for a couple to relax in. Could easily attend the entire time in the room just relaxing.

Peppers is a lovely hotel. Warm and corset lounges and plenty of areas to sit it. We were most fortunate to be upgraded to a spa suite. Whilst the bedroom and bathroom were a little small, upstairs we had a huge lounge area, lovely large outdoor balcony and kitchen. All came with a cosy log fire. There isn't much wardrobe... More

If you are looking for a lovely hotel to stay in with great ambiance then this is the place to stay. Only reason I have rated this lovely hotel low is due to the disappointment of the staff and their lack of interest in the client.

As a thankyou we were given a 2 night stay in a spa room. The room we had was on the 1st floor (there is no lift). It had a spa in the main bedroom, as well as a separate ensuite with an excellent shower. The bed was very comfortable, and we found the room very clean and homely. The... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set in Victoria's picturesque Daylesford and Macedon Ranges, this grand 1930's guest house has been transformed into one of regional Victoria's finest heritage country hotels; with stylish lounges, cocktail bar, leafy gardens and stunning courtyards. Situated in Hepburn Springs, just three minutes from Daylesford, 60 minutes from Melbourne airport and 75 minutes from Melbourne CBD, Peppers Mineral Springs Hotel wraps you in comfortable elegance with 40 stylish rooms to choose from; including a self contained 1864 Villa Parma with four exquisite bedrooms, roomy self-contained villas, heritage hotel rooms and cosy garden rooms, with interiors created by designer Stuart Rattle. All rooms have an ensuite bathroom, individual climate control, tea/coffee making facilities, minibar, refrigerators, TV, DVD, iron and ironing board, hairdryer & direct dial STD/ISD telephones. After a long day of exploring, sink into the deep club chairs and sofas around a roaring fire at The Argus Bar & Lounge, one-part private club, and two-part return of old world glamour. The soul of this relaxed haven lies in tradition and warmth, with surroundings that reflect this quiet, intimate and inviting atmosphere. One of the great pleasures of staying here is the multi award-winning Mineral Spa, tucked in the grounds of the hotel. Mineral Spa is one of the largest and most acclaimed rural day spas in Australia; winners of Australasian Spa Association Best Hotel and Best Day Spa, as well as the Victorian Tourism Award winners for Health and Wellness (Hall of Fame) and the Spa Life magazine reader's choice for Best Destination Spa. Specifically designed as a sanctuary of healing and relaxation, therapists each have their own area of expertise. They are selected for their healing hands and calming spirits, ensuring that every guest experiences a beautiful and personal spa experience; with individual consultations and exclusive specialist treatments. As part of its philosophy for integrating healing through earth's natural elements, Mineral Spa has harnessed the power of mineral water, unlike any other spa in Australia. The spa's key feature of healing through water is The Retreat; a mineral water therapy zone following in the healing traditions of the famous mineral spas throughout Europe. Tucked in a private and peaceful indoor/outdoor corner of the spa, The Retreat comprises two 100% mineral water spas, a cold plunge pool, steam room, infra-red detox box and the only basalt stone sauna in the Southern Hemisphere. During the winter months, The Retreat turns into a steamy twilight haven with Night Bathing every Friday evening. Water continues as a healing theme that runs throughout the entire spa, with highlights such as the 180 power jet massaging Hydro baths and Australasia's only Soft Pack Floatation Beds. Signature treatments are by the prestigious spa specialist, Pevonia Botanica. The Spa Menu is extensive and includes specialist healing treatments such as pregnancy and oncology massages. In keeping with the sense of tranquility, Mineral Spa is architecturally designed to reflect the environment and landscape, creating an ambience of healing; suffused with natural light shimmering across white stone walls, enhanced by the soothing sound of flowing water, and breathtaking views into the countryside. Maintenance Notice: The Argus Dining Room will be closed for renovations from Monday 13th April until Thursday 30th April 2015. The Argus Bar & Lounge will be open during this time for lunch & dinner. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. ... more   less
