Detailed Reviews
This was our first night away in our new motor home travelling with our schnoodle dog. We received a very warm welcome and was provided with a map with detailed instructions how to find our site and other park facilities.
Had great indoor / outdoor recreational areas for socialising ... good kitchen facilities and also a hut with open fires if required.
Toilet / shower facilities were fine and seemed to be kept well cleaned regularly. A nice 10-15 minute walk through the park gate to the lake which was enjoyed.
The park was very quiet with no late / early morning noise or disruptions. Only 1 1/2 hours from home and no doubt we'll visit this beautiful area a few times each year

I’m not a fan of camping but I enjoyed glamping! Our tent is very spacious and has everything we needed. The bed is very comfortable with quality linens and an electric blanket. We also had an electric fireplace, a fridge, coffee maker, kettle, plates and utensils. The “teepee” is just right next to our tent and the toilet & bath are clean and complete with towels and toiletries. If you haven’t tried camping, you will enjoy glamping! If you enjoy camping, glamping is an upgraded camping experience — complete with amenities while enjoying the great outdoors! And lastly, the staff at the reception are friendly and accommodating. Will highly recommend!

+1
The staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. Assisting me reversing my van, all things regarding my booking, 4 casual staff members all keeping the facility tip top!! The camp kitchen was fabulous and I used it for all cooking and washing up while watching the tv!! Ideally located to walk to town, lakes and other highlights. Rhododendron in bloom everywhere! Short drives in all directions takes you to waterfalls, wineries, historic places and buildings.
Aaaaaand do spoilt with a visit from a coffee van and live entertainment on the premises Sunday afternoon !😊

We had a site for a few nights after Christmas and enjoyed our stay. The place was a short walk from the lake with loads of grass and trees filled with birds of all sorts.
Ours was a level site with a paved pad, easy to get into with a larger van and plenty of room on the site. There are larger sites available in other parts of the park that would accommodate almost any setup.
The facilities were very clean and tidy and well maintained. The park is dog friendly, though you wouldn’t know that there were pets about to be honest.
The maintenance team were kept busy with COVID changes around new year and they did a great job.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the park.

Clean and well maintained Park set in gardens of well established shade trees, lawns and flowering shrubs including camellias and rhododendrons. Staff available, helpful and visibly present. Beaut for all age groups. So close to nature and to all of Daylesford's treasures.

My wife and I stayed two nights with daughter and son in law. Three young boys in toe as well. Boys loved the playground and wildlife around the park always something to do. Oldies enjoyed all that Daylesford had to offer great place. We had onsite cabin 15 easy to find well equipped and we can only highly recommend. Clean and fresh. Only small problem was the TV signal was a bit frustrating when boys were watching the cartoon shows later in the evening.

There are plenty of trees surrounding the property, and the cabins are well spaced. Our cabin was comfortable and had all the amenities needed for a two night stay. Access is via a boom gate code, so there is minimum traffic through the park. It is on the pricey side, but was clean and well-cared for.

We stayed for 3 nights in mid-March, on a powered site in our motorhome, right next to the camp kitchen & playground area. Staff were friendly & helpful, & kept the amenities very clean. Many beautiful trees provide plenty of shade, & sites were generally level & easy to access. The playground & camp kitchen were excellent, BBQs provided, secure boom gate entry to the park, & walking distance to the lake too. So much to do in the Daylesford area, we couldn't do it all in 3 days so a return visit sometime is planned.

My husband and I stay at the park for two weeks and were both very impressed with the service we received by all staff at the park. All amenities were very clean and to a high standard. Over the long weekend they had light entertainment throughout the park which was amazing to see.

The Serenity Glamping Tent was visibly mouldy, smelly & severely run down. Dust, hair & dead bugs in the bed & kitchen draws. All the furniture was stained. Then attended the “teepee” for bathroom amenities to be horrified by the black mould on tent & floor. So unhygienic & disgusting. We could NOT stay here and left within an hour. How can you justify charging $190 per night?!

Our caravan club won't be back and definitely not recommend your park.
Hi Kaine,
Thank you for providing more detailed feedback.
After careful consideration of all the feedback we received after the Chill Out Festival weekend, and with public safety in mind, we will no longer be allowing camper trailers or caravans into the unpowered area. It will be a car/tent only area.
We will also be increasing the size of the unpowered sites next year.
Unfortunately, this will reduce the number of people who can stay
with us for the event but we believe this will provide a happier outcome for all guests.
For the powered sites, the one car and trailer/caravan policy will be
retained. This is to ensure the safety of our guests and to keep vehicle
numbers to the absolute minimum within the park during peak times.
We will also be installing Portaloos (at the far end of the park) during
major events, to better manage demand for the two existing amenities blocks.
We hope you can appreciate these efforts to accommodate and satisfy all our guests during busy events. We will continue to strive to ensure our guests enjoy Chill Out with us in comfortable and safe surroundings and in light of these positive changes, we sincerely hope we will see you back for next year's event.
Thanks again, Kaine.
