We stayed in one of the cabins at David Thompson resort for 2 days in June. Cabin was great: small bathroom and kitchen, queen size bed, hot water, BBQ, fire pit, outdoor table with benches....for a very reasonable price. Staff was very nice and friendly, starting from front desk ppl and ending with ground and housekeepers. Resort is in a...

We stayed in the motel and other family stayed in the campground. The views around this area are spectacular! Some improvements in the room since our last visit and there was a fridge, which was very nice!

Love the place surrounded with beautiful view of the mountains. It is also a walking distance from Abraham Lake. Beautiful lake . . . place to soak your feet and fish if you can catch one! Most of the camp sites are drive through! It is also close to a helicopter ride place if you want one. . . or...

It seems that everyone heads out to Banff or Jasper right away and misses this area. The David Thompson Resort is a place that I pass often and had never stayed at. I eventually got the opportunity to stay in the hostel in early August and it was amazing! The staff is entertaining and fun and the room was clean...

We stayed for 5 nights in early August and had a very nice stay. We have been several times before and have always loved the location. There are lots of trees and places to walk to and drive to in the area. The staff have always been helpful and friendly to us although I won't say the same for the...

We stayed for August long weekend staying July 30-Aug 2. Booking the spot was easy and they answered our many questions! Checking in was also as easy and the lady was helpful and very friendly! The place was beautiful. As for our camping spot I could see they it's more for trailers than tents although I did see tons of...

First time staying in the campground. The sites are relatively close together but we have been in worse campgrounds elsewhere. We have a 30 foot travel trailer that was a little tight getting into our spot. The only real disappointment was the Power, as it was suppose to be 15A but turns out its much less then that as it...

Old hotel, old rooms, warped floors, old mattresses, inflated prices. The only thing going for this place was the staff.....do yourself a favor and keep driving by....not worth the $170.00 we had to pay

839Ulabear Thank you for your feedback. Glad to hear you liked the staff . Hope you find what you are looking for in your travels....it appears our rustic rooms with comfy beds and new floors and clean accommodations is not what you are looking for. Have a great summer April Front Desk Manager

Ron and Wendy own and operate this terrific resort. Lots of amenities, including great camp store (with gas and diesel), restaurant and gift shop. Once we discovered the yummy Cowboy breakfast we ate that every morning! Roomy pull through sites and positioned so that you have some privacy. Nice hikes from the campground to a beautiful viewpoint and down to...

Disclaimer - this is directed at tent campers only. I can't speak to the RV sites or the cabins the offer other than to say that the entire facility offers little in the way of seclusion or privacy, it's basically a cleared, gravelled area with a few trees left standing. First, the pros: Clean, awesome jungle gym for the kids,...
