We stayed for three nights and ate three fabulous breakfasts. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a very nice en-suite. The team were very helpful and the pub itself is very welcoming, they held an Easter Quiz night which was great fun. Highly recommended

Had another good night here, stopping with friends. Staff are very friendly and the great food and drink made it an excellent evening. We had a real mixture of the menu, inc veggie and all enjoyed ourselves.

My hubby and I called as we came home from Harrogate. As it was Mother's Day, thought we might be out of luck, but weren't. Fantastic atmosphere and the food was superb. Perfect service not rushed but very relaxed! About half an hour from home, but we will certainly be back. Could not fault it!!! I had pigeon breast, followed...

Came with my wife and 2-year old daughter, we were really well catered for by the friendly staff and the food was great. Good selection of lagers, amazing burger (I recommend adding bacon and blue cheese to the standard burger) and desserts to die for. Tip: the toblerone cheesecake comes with ice cream with popping candy! 5/5, would eat again.

Beautiful location. Friendly greetings on arrival. Rooms were immaculately clean. Good hot, hearty breakfast. What stood out was the courtesy call before we even arrived to see if we required an evening meal. Don't miss out on this gem of a hotel.

After reading all the great reviews, we decided at the last minute to stay here as a stopping point on our way home. We knew it would be difficult getting a room, so we were happy to firstly find one available and therefore pay a little over the odds, as it was New Years Eve. We arrived at 6pm and...

We stayed a Saturday night here on the way back to Scotland from the south of England. Lovely room, clean, very comfortable mattress, great bath/shower. Dinner on Saturday night was also very enjoyable. Unfortunately breakfast was a little disappointing - was fine, but nothing compared to the previous night's dinner. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Stayed here for 1 night very welcoming, room was very clean and everything you needed. We had dinner in the restaurant on the evening the food was to die for and completely different way of ordering where you go up to the chef and choose your meat or fish and you can have whatever you want with it. Everything fresh...

Used the Brit Stop Motorhome location at the at the Kings Arms and had dinner here. The food is great and excellent value for money. The menu is full of local and seasonal goodies, the staff are very welcoming and the Patron/Chef does a great job keeping the local pub running in a small village top marks.

Really good restaurant in this pub. It has a novel twist - you look at the menu then go up to the counter and discuss your choice with the chef. You can choose the meat/fish you'd like and how large as well as choosing the sauce. I chose a thick cut rib eye steak which was cooked perfectly. Others in...
