The Farmyard Inn is a gem with original old world character in a small village. Suzzanne, the landlady, has a wonderful sense of humour and makes everyone feel welcome. The food was plentiful, tasted delicious and looked great. My room, the Pigsty, was clean, well presented with en-suite shower. The bed was extremely comfortable and made for an excellent nights...

So many pubs these days suffer from a lack of focus because nobody seems to be in charge. That is emphatically not the case here with the whirling dervish phenomenon that is Susi, the landlady. Even when she is not rushing around taking orders, serving behind the bar or cooking breakfast, she is keeping an eye on what is going...

Will be returning :-) Unfortunately this post isn't long enough so i have to carry on typing. Feel the need to add something negative, but can't !! Hopefully now completed 200 words Very nice pub....

We had a few nights here with friends and were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff. The food was good with lots of veggie options. Bar gets very crowded especially on the popular pie night. The rooms are small but OK with clean shower rooms and comfortable beds. Sue the landlady is a dynamo.

My family of 2 adults and 2 kids visited this pub Sunday 9th April. We were squeezed in last minute. The pub inside it really lovely and cosy. Very traditional in style. The staff were really lovely and welcoming. The lady that dealt with our table was very bubbly and approachable, she made us feel very welcome. My husband tells...

Lovely pub and rooms. Sue, the landlady just can't do enough. I don't know where she gets her energy from. Food was excellent. We played live music until very late as a spillover from the village hall event. Sue and the locals were very accommodating and everyone had a great time. I would definitely stay again.

Me and my partner stayed here for only one night, but wished we'd have able to stay for two. From start to finish we were made very welcome. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee. The pub itself is very nice and has a lovely open log burning...

Had a wonderful meal at the Farmyard Inn with my enormous family. We were given our own cosy little area which worked perfectly. All the staff (and customers) were so friendly and the food was fabulous. I was salivating over my children's chips and I don't even eat them normally! Great value, friendly place with super food. What is not...
