Stayed here on boxing day and enjoyed a day in Tideswell. Such a beautiful village. We had an attic room that was spotlessly clean and so cosy. The breakfast was a selection of cereals then full English heaven.! The owner, Baz, shows obvious pride in the Horse and Jockey and is always cleaning and making sure it's spotless. We loved...

We returned to the Jockey with family living in Tideswell and am pleased to report that the whole experience was up to the high standards seen in previous visits. The Staff were great and although they were busy with a Christening they were great and nothing was too much trouble. The Roasts were superb and all in all I have...

We stayed here for one night in October as it was close to where we wanted to go walking. It's a really cosy pub with a separate eating area (as well as being able to eat in the pub). The room was really welcoming with free bathroom products and biscuits with the tea and coffee. The breakfast was lovely and...

Stayed here for a few days of walks. Good location for plenty of walks in the area and an interesting village to wander around. Its a friendly pleasant pub and the accommodation is what you would expect. Staff were all very helpful. The food is good pub grub with specials most evenings and a nice cooked breakfast.

Popped in for food when we were staying in the area. The food is good homely stuff, pies, steaks, etc and they have a great selection of real ales. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the pub has a great atmosphere.

Called in for a meal last Sunday evening at this lovely pub, the first thing we noticed was the warm friendly greeting from the lady on the bar. Having shown us to a table she introduced our waitress Megan who, I have to say had a constant smile on her face. I cannot fault the service at all, the food...

Stopped in on the off chance that they served food and were not disappointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The meal was fresh, well presented and tasted delicious. A great selection was available both for mains and desserts. I cannot comment on the hotel side of the business as we only called in for our evening meal, which was...
