Called for lunch whilst waiting for our other friends. Service was very good, food very good, only problem was that oven broke whilst we there so no one else could have food. Location central within the village. Lovely surroundings would definitely go back

We had a 3 night stay here October 2016 room 4 I think, lovely big room and huge bathroom. Bed comfortable and nice linen and towels. Breakfast was lovely and had a meal here one evening which was lovely too. Also ate at other pubs in the village which were very nice. A lovely village, church next door was lovely,...

Stopped for an evening meal here while on holiday, the pub was very busy but we did manage to find a small table. The food was good so no complaints but we did feel a little uncomfortable within that environment, not sure why. Would eat here again but it would not be our first choice.

Average all round. Nothing exceptional. Barman /host a bit dry, not convinced he wants to there. Wandered down town found more popular pub for drinking. Eat evening meal ok. Breakfast OK, Rooms ok (although had light from pub sign outside my thin curtains). no reason to go again, there must be better places in town

We stayed here one wet and cold November night. I can't recall why, but the heating in the room wasn't working. The owner/manager chap gave us a tiny portable electric heater...which also didn't work. Nor did the next one he gave us. He wasn't at all apologetic. Breakfast was below par and served with that manner that dogs sea changers...

My husband and I went just for a meal. There are plenty of vegetarian options. I recommend the veg Wellington. Yum! The chips are gorgeous. I would definitely go again. Good prices too. My husband's steak and ale pie was good too.

Good room, recently refurbished in an old country pub. Sufficient breakfast, but not exceptional. Serenaded early in the evening by the local brass band practicing in the function room and the bell-ringers in the church next door, but all had ceased before bedtime. Booked through Toprooms (never again!) who were very unhelpful when I had an enquiry after their email...

Good little B and B, beds were very comfortable and room clean . Nice touch of little toiletries in the bathroom. breakfasts were very small, my husband asked for extra sausages, bacon etc but the owner refused even though we offered to pay extra, which we thought a little odd! Ended up getting a sausage bap from up the road.
