We stayed during the spring bank holiday weekend. We were very impressed by Handel's Muse and other facilities at Oldfields Farm. Vaughan and Diane were also very welcoming and helpful! Would love to visit again. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Oldfields farm between the 13-16 of May for a long weekend. There were 6 of us from my family. We were made to feel welcome in a beautiful barn conversion where there was excellent attention to detail. The rooms were spacious and comfortable the kitchen dining area excellent for spending evenings cooking and socialising. My mum enjoyed...

Had a lovely weekend break in the Derbyshire dales. Vaughn and Diane are very hospitable and the converted barn was perfect for our family of 6. Ideally placed to explore the sights. We recommend visiting bakewell and trying the original bakewell tart from bloomers.

Staying at Oldfield's farm was great! Diane and Vaughan took every measure upon our arrival to ensure the place was to a high standard. They left Milk in the fridge, Scones with Butter and Jam and a bottle of Prossecco for us. Staying there was really quiet (which is what we wanted), highly romantic and gave us the option to...

My husband & I stayed at Handel's Muse, Oldfields Farm one chilly week in October & found it to be a cosy, quiet retreat set in a beautiful valley of meadows & trees, a good base for Peak District & surrounding area. The converted stable is well equipped with top end appliances & fittings, modern kitchen & shower room, &...

We had arranged a 4 night stay at Gorsey Hayes, Oldfields Farm at the beginning of August. From the very outset the booking process was undertaken by Vaughan, in a very professional manner with responses to my emails being received promptly. Gorsey Hayes was everything and more, which we had hoped it would be. Upon our arrival we found the...

My wife and I plus 2 girls aged 2 and 6 have just spent a fortnight in the property named Gorsey Hayes and I have to say it’s one of the best properties we have stayed in. We were lucky to have stayed in Gorsey Hayes for a week in mid July 2014. Everything was perfect - the barn, its quality fixtures and fittings, the facilities and most of all the lovely owners Vaughan and Diane. I don't have enough superlatives to describe how welcoming and helpful and friendly they were. The kids loved staying there and...

First time we have hired a cottage and Gorsey Hayes exceeded our expectations.
