We couldn't fault the accommodation and friendly and helpful owner. We would definitely stay there again if we are in this area. Beautiful house in lovely gardens. Well situated for visiting main tourist areas.

We recently stayed for our first time with Judy and Brian at Woodlands. They were very welcoming and the house and room were first class . Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked and there was a good choice .

Had a great weekend here. We stayed for two nights, all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food is fantastic, the breakfast is amazing. We also had a Sunday lunch. This was delicious and would definitely recommend. All food is served in the orangery with views of the beautiful garden. The rooms are light and airy with a nice...

The staff here are really friendly and welcoming. The room was bright, clean and warm. The bnb is situated in the lovely Peak District with wonderful views of the hills from the conservatory where you have breakfast. The food was delicious too.

The home is wonderfully designed and enjoyable and easy to spend time in. Delightful design additions, such as the ceiling windows. Kitchen is adequate for cooking a meal. Footpaths are nearby. Parking right next to the cottage. All appointments met or exceeded my expectations.

Visited yesterday for afternoon tea with friends. The sandwiches were freshly made and the homemade chutney was delishish, the cakes and scones were beautiful. The staff were friendly. Definitely going back and will be trying the food menu as everything looked top notch.

I had an excellent stay at The Woodlands. The property and room were beautiful, and all of the staff were wonderful. I had to work over the weekend and they kindly accommodated me well. If you have the opportunity to eat in for lunch, don't miss it. I hope I can stay again.

The Woodlands is a lovely place to stay! We were warmly welcomed with delicious home baking and tea. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely large bathroom and a very pretty aspect. Woodlands is set in a charming village of old stone houses and cottages, and distant views.
