Last week I had my 60th birthday party at Windy Harbour and about 60 people attended. Lee and his team looked after us very well. Food was very good and plenty of it! The drinks flowed freely and the staff were both pleasant and very helpful. We had a comedian and a musician and their needs were also catered for....

Visited for Sunday lunch - ordered the crayfish to start. Presentation poor and taste was very bland. Main course pork - very tasty but one bowl of vegetables between four people not good !! wine selection very poor indeed.

Visited this location for a family wedding which was a great day and very nice location with great views. Plenty of car park space and even welcome Caravans. Very large areas to relax in and great tasting food. My only issue was the WC has it wasnt disabled friendly as access was poor. Great place to visit.

Wonderful views. Lots of good walks close by and the people here are so friendly and helpful. Just had dinner which was substantial and delicious. Not sure if I will manage breakfast! Seriously, we intend to return as this is just a one nighter and we would like to do more walking. Thank you to everyone for being so welcoming.

This was our second stay at this hotel, this time it was for a family wedding. As before we had a fantastic stay. The staff here are beyond helpful. The food was fantastic. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. On the day of the wedding, all members of the team here were hands on to ensure the day went perfectly....

Day 1 Pennine Way. Overall an excellent place. Lee was very helpful, also picking us up and returning us to the Pennine Way close to Torside. Room was clean, whilst compact it was good, shower fine, Wifi worked well. Excellent evening meal. Helpful staff. Full stop.

What super people, so friendly and welcoming. Beautifully clean, relaxing, laid back atmosphere. Great views. Water pressure in the shower isn't great but it is adequate. The bedrooms are not big but that is not a problem, unless you are wanting to spend all your time in your room. We will return

Stayed at Windy Harbour twice in the last year. It's small, quiet and comfortable with great views from the bedroom windows, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Good food as well. There's no food Sunday evenings, but the pub in Old Glossop is just as good. There's also the pub/tai restaurant on Sheffield Road.
