Absolutely terrible!!!!,went there last christmas year 2015 with a group from work, amazingly organised and the food......to die for,a real mouth watering experience, presentation, flavour, the whole package, perfect. This year went with family and friends for christmas meal...what a complete let down, the menu was that of your local corner pub, service slow and once the food arrived, well what can I say.....my five year old son...

Working in Glossop long term I tried virtually all B&B's and hotels.... Windy Harbour is head and shoulders above the others. Julie, Graham and Lee made it feel like a second home for me. The service and food never dropped in standard, regardless of the familiarity. When I return I wont look anywhere else... excellent place, food with lovelly people.

My family of four decided to have a 'very special' Christmas Day lunch here. We did visit here a few years ago for a family celebration when Graham had the place, the food was amazing then, but, sadly it's gone to the dogs. Ok, here I go, very poor standard of food, poor presentation, re-heated veg and potatoes, most of...

Large party for Christmas lunch, service very poor and slow. I had prawn cocktail which was ok but presentation could have been better. Turkey dinner was also poor the vegetables were a mixed concoction which looked very unappealing, stuffing was a very hard ball and unedible. My friend has roast beef dinner and the yorkshire looked as though it had...

8 of us wrnt for the Chrismas menu. Service was good but the food is decidedly average. The salmon was overpowered by the lemon sauce and was served with brussel sprouts that were over cooked and roast potatoes that had been kept warm Every one else had the beef or turkey and seemed satisfied to a.point but all agreed we...

We only ate here, so I can only comment on the food. The food served here is quite poor. I can't find anything good to report, sadly. The chips were awful and after trying one I left the rest of them. The burger my son had was literally a beef burger in a bread bun, that wasn't even toasted. He...

So after me raving about this place the first time from the huge portion tasting lovely, I took my parents and boyfriend. We decided to skip the starter this time as unable to finish the main last time we missed out on desert. What a mistake! There was a little wait on the food which they informed us of but...

We had our wedding venue do here in a marquee. I have got to say that is so good and we recommend it very highly indeed. The owners are so lovely and engaging and very accommodating and the place itself is truly wonderful. If you're looking for a wedding venue, this is it. They will cater or provide external companies....
