Had the pleasure of staying at The Norfolk Arms on bank holiday weekend - Friday 27th and Saturday 28th May for the Glossop FC Beer Festival. Great value for money at £30.00 per night - would recommend and will be returning. Thanks to all the staff who went above and beyond to make us feel as welcome as possible.

The Norfolk Arms, Glossop is a really nice, clean, comfortable Inn. It's well decorated, well set out and the staff are really friendly, however I have visited this establishment twice now. Both visits were a few years apart and the first time we visited, we had lunch and it was very enjoyable. The second visit,I have to say the food...

Thoroughly enjoyed eating here with my fiancee's family. The food, I must say, was very good. Braised steak and onions, rump steak and steak and ale pie were all spot on and decent sized portions. The waitress was very friendly and provided good banter too. She was even good enough to point out cheaper ways to order drinks etc. The...

Went for meal and uxpectantly fell ill. Staff were so kind considerate while waiting 1.30 hrs for ambulance . Would not let my son pay for meal we had started. Went in next night and had a beautiful meal and staff were great and showed concern to my well being. Will certainly stay there next time in area.

After the first success we decided to visit at least once a week for an inexpensive and quality meal. I had the 'Raggy Pudding' as i like suety things. It was delicious. Also a must are the Onion rings, the biggest and best in the world in my opinion, the chips are amazing and are all cooked in beef dripping....

I visited one lunchtime and the restaurant was quite busy. I ordered the mushroom soup to start with, which was lovely. Followed by the Steak and ale pie with mash potato. The pie was lovely, and as is common now the chef just rested a piece of pastry over the dish but never the less it was nice. The vegetables...

Food was excellent. Service could of been a little better. But still worth a visit. Cosy smart pub reasonable prices. Large pub. Lots of space not crushed into a corner. Tables are well spaced which is good for comfort. Nice selection of food

“We only saw one room and even though it was over the part of the Pub that smokers used outside it di not keep me awake and I would not have been able to sleep if it was noisy. It is also in the middle of Glossop but I did not notice the noise of traffic so I would assume that all the rooms are OK”

“Our room was at the back above the outside smoking area so was a bit noisy until closing time but not too intrusive. Maybe a room at the front would be better???”
