We got to glossop gone 2:30pm and was looking for something to eat. We noticed they finished serving food at 2 and were about to go back to the car park and try somewhere else. I got talking to a very nice lady outside the front of the pub who happened to be the landlady. She said she didn't mind...

We have been here twice for Sunday Lunch over the last couple of months and both times we have enjoyed it very much. The 'new' landlord and landlady have been running the pub for a little while and they are doing a good job, very friendly and welcoming. The Robinson's beer is well kept and the best it has ever...

Me, my husband and my furbaby tripped out from Manchester to Glossop to come here for a Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed. The food was lovely and home cooked and the staff were really friendly and welcoming - was definitely worth the trip.

My wife and i recently had a 3 day break at the bulls head glossop and fair to say we will be back as soon as we possibly can. Set in the most idilic rolling hills location, this is i am told the oldest pub in glossop, but in no way does it come over as such. The new owners...

We went for Sunday Lunch - as well as the compulsory pint or two - and were not disappointed. The greeting was friendly and attentive, the drinks up to the usual Robinson's standard, and nothing was too much trouble. We only had to wait 20 minutes for our freshly cooked dinner and it was one of the best Sunday Lunches...

We stumbled accross this quaint pub last weekend and found a little gem. Great atmosphere, and a wonderful couple running it. They were very welcoming, friendly and fun. Had lots of laughs and will definately be returning for an overnight stay... had a quick look around the b+b rooms and they look really clean and comfy, modern with a countryside...

“Room 1 gets the best wifi since it's directly above the bar where the router is! Downside is noise on a busy night but the sound insulation is generally good and after all it is a pub so it would probably be unusual if there WASN'T the sound of people enjoying themselves. Didn't disturb my sleep.”
