Always a pleasure to stay here. There is a lovely woodland garden with a stream running through. The room is always welcoming and the breakfasts are superb. It is situated on a busy road . It is a good location to visit the Peak district.

Birds Nest Cottage is such a lovely home from home. Lynda makes sure you have the breakfast of your liking and is helpful in every way. The room and ensuite are beautiful, comfortable and spotless. We will be back again and again. I did not take a photo but the room and bed are much nicer than the one shown in the photo that is shown here.

We treated ourselves to a four night stay this time in the garden retreat. It was fabulous especially during the heatwave as the accommodation stayed really cool and comfortable. It was well equipped and we had the use of the garden which was well maintained. We will definitely return as part of another UK tour next year.

Stayed here with four friends while attending another friend's birthday celebrations. Three of us were in the Garden Retreat and two in rooms in the B&B itself. The accommodation is lovely and Lynda was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are comfortable, the self contained Retreat is cosy and well appointed and the view over their garden (with a stream running through it) is fabulous. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

Lynda was so welcoming after a long work day, a fantastic host. The "bird's nest" has a beautiful garden, where you can relax. The room I stayed in was spacious, with all mod-coms, and comfortable; I slept deeply and woke up refreshed and ready for the day! Lynda's breakfasts are an experience of joy; plenty to eat, and of a high quality I'd expect of a 5-star hotel. Such a friendly couple, with a well priced service, and certainly great value for money.
