We went up when very snowy and got stuck on drive but in a minute or two a tractor came to help. The proprierter was helpful, we could park and walk even though we arrived early. Good advice on local pubs and had a great stay, intend to go back. Very quiet location with walks in hope valley straight out...

We had a fantastic stay at Dunscar Farm. Very easy to find and close to Castleton village for local pubs, restaurants and Caverns! We were allowed early check-in, which was great, and received a warm welcome on arrival. We stayed in a double room with a separate bathroom down the hall with a bath, which I enjoyed a good soak...

Great stay, top breakfast. We stayed in the room with a private bathroom across the hall and it was ideal - the dressing gowns were a nice touch. Friendly hosts. Nice stroll to the pubs with plenty of walks to choose from, this place was perfect for a weekend getaway.

Just returned from a 2 night break with friends. We each had a room and they were all excellent, very well equipped and most importantly after a 13 mile walk really comfy beds! Hosts very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent and plenty of it. I would highly recommend Dunscar Farm as a base for walking or just a quiet...

We spent 2 nights at Dunscar Farm and can recommend this to everybody who is looking for that 'scenic just outside of the village in the fields' location. Surrounded by trees and fields with lovely views on the Peaks, this is as British as it comes. Our room was spacious with armchairs and lots of light. The time slot for...

Accessed via a narrow lane with two cattle grids you enter a working farmyard surrounded by sheep. Our double room was clean if somewhat compact, but comfy bed and all necessary requirements provided. No fresh milk in room but I'm sure if wed asked we could have had some Wi-Fi available in siting room if needed. Lots of literature on...

We managed to get a cancellation at short notice and the owner was very helpful. We had a lovely cosy and very well equipped room. At breakfast we were looked after very well and the food was extremely tasty. The farm is set down a long lane which makes it nice and quiet and excellent for walkers or those just...

Would thoroughly recommend this wonderful B&B. The family room suited us perfectly. Very cosy and clean with everything we needed. Set in a wonderful location with easy access to plenty of walks as well as the nearby caverns, Mam Tor and Castleton. Janet and Gary were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and plenty of...
