          I stayed in Castleton in 2014 while I was participating in an archaeological dig. I stayed at the Rambler's Rest for a few days before moving on to a house I rented with some other gals, but I didn't even want to leave Rambler's Rest...More

          Fantastic spacious room, incredibly well cooked and well presented breakfast..staff friendly and informative about local area...just stunning...everything to the highest possible standard!..close to all the caves, walks, pubs etc ...cannot recommend thus place enough!

          Stopped before headed to the Blue John mines for a coffee and a cake. Was busy and we could see why as they do a good selection of stuff for breakfasts. Had a lovely coffee and tea and cakes. Quite happy, as per their name,...More

          Best Jacket potato and tuna sandwich for miles. Dog friendly, clean and friendly. Super huge cakes and a good selection of teas and coffee. We visit regularly and have never been let down yet. A great place for walkers ti stop for lunch.

          We took our two dogs, I'm not sure if they're allowed in every room though.
