Six of us stayed at this hotel/pub at the start of our walk of the Limey Way. The bedrooms are very comfortable as well as all different in decor and furnishings. They were all very nice and interesting rooms. The staff were most accommodating and friendly. The food, both in the evening and at breakfast, was excellent. The location was...

Stayed here for tree nights in April experiencing hail , rain and snow. Lovely warm welcome and cosy fire. Room clean and fitting to the style of an old coaching house. Both breakfast and evening menu suited us both. Would certainly stay again.

We have had lunch here twice now while visiting the area to climb Mam Tor. On our last visit we were accompanied by two under-ten year olds and were incredibly impressed with the childs menu, complete with colouring page and competition! The service was excellent, and the pick n mix sausage combination comes highly recommended! The food was also tremendous...

My wife and I called in here for lunch and found they were very busy (Always a good sign) The pub was well staffed and we ordered from the extensive menu and found the food to be very good and reasonably priced. The pub has an assortment of about 50 or so different gins and they offered a selection tray...

Popped in for a quick bite to eat. Typical pub food. Well presented and good value for money. Ordered Fish and Chips and an 8oz Gourmet Burger. The burger was quite tasty, best one we've had at a pub for a while.

Really tasty food and served quickly and piping hot. My wife had the Sunday roast which she said was very nice. I had the Steak Pie and it was excellent. Plenty of tender meat and a nice thick pastry top. Service was great throughout, we had booked ahead as we were in the village for a concert in The Devils...

This place never fails to cleanse my soul! The welcome is always warm, the food hearty & flavourful and the beer is just too good! Our 4th or 5th time to visit just food & drinkls this time, but each time we have stayed the rooms are lovely with views to die for. I almost don't want to review this...

We went for the brilliant steak and wine for two £34. Wonderful meal. Cheesecake was yummy too! Can imagine it gets busy later but we went early. Lovely bar for just drinks if you don't want food. Recommended.

The Ye Old Nags Head is good place to stay in Castleton. Stayed in the Losehill room. Queen sized bed with on suite shower & toilet. Food is very good in the restaurant on an evening. The restaurant provides the location for breakfast where the full English is outstanding.
