Stayed 2 nights midweek via Travelzoo. Parking was no problem, checking in smooth and quick with welcoming receptionist . The rooms are nice and have all the amenities you could want, including tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water. Good size bathroom with toiletries and robes, am not a fan of the push down plugs in the middle of...

I have stayed here a few times over the years, it has recently changed hands, previously it was a welcoming restaurant where one was able to relax in the comfy chairs, they have since been removed and replaced by table and chairs. So you either have to sit at the table or stand st the bar, there is only room...

We ate in on both the nights we stayed and the food was excellent, my husband definitely would recommend the steak cooked to perfection. The breakfast over delivered our expectations and had a wide...

This is a special place. It's location is beautiful with the river Trent enveloping the hotel on two sides. We went in mid March . . it must be glorious in the summer. The hotel surpassed my expectations. Public areas & rooms are tastefully decorated & of a decent size & every thing seems to be well maintained. Unfortunately, our...

According to the web site the afternoon tea comprises of finger sandwiches and pastries what we got was a piece of stale bagel with ham smoked salmon and cream cheese on a piece of toast that when I lifted the salmon the cream cheese made a crazy paving pattern so had clearly been made a long time and some bread...
