We have just spent 2 nights at the ladybower inn and they were lovely. The room was cosy, quiet and modern, the breakfast is one of the best I've had in a hotel and the evening food was really tasty. I will be back.

Stayed one night. Room warm clean and quiet decent en suite. So...to the food. BUT when pubs put PIE on the menu I am particular. Is it really a stew with a stamped out bit of pastry Sat on top or is it really a pie? It needs to be recorded that this hostelry makes PIES. Probably the best real...

Situated roadside just before Ladybower reservoir is this wonderful establishment, serving excellent food at reasonable prices, a good choice of beers and wines, all served by attentive staff who cannot do enough for you. Our room was dog friendly, one of three, and was very pleasant, very clean with a good size en-suite. The inn has a good size car park across...

We called into the Ladybower Inn for lunch on Saturday while travelling from Glossop to Sheffield. Never tried it before and found it to be a lovely warm welcoming place with really good uncomplicated pub food. I had the steak pie which was really nice and a proper pie too rather than cooked in a dish with puff pastry on...

This is a nice pub for a break along Snake's Pass. The car park is over the road and can take a while to cross over to the pub on busy weekends. The car park can get quite busy with walkers using it before looping the nearby reservoirs. We stopped off for a quick coffee and enjoyed the view down...

Great service, great location. Friendly service . The food was fabulous but go with a big appetite as the portions are huge. Would definitely return. It is children friendly and they also have accommodations.

4 of us went for a meal after walking around derwent reservoir. 3 of us had beef pie with vegetables and chips. It was delicious, proper pastry and lots of meat. Gammon looked great too, seating out front was full as it was a nice day. Only gripe was bar staff shouting loudly to the kitchen asking about the menu...
