Such a warm and friendly place, the staff go out of their way to help you.. food is lovely with a variety of hot or cold meals, and I was delighted to find a range of vegetarian options. The rooms are warm and clean, I found the bed very comfortable, and slept sound.

A trip out today to the Snake Pass Inn after the snow, seemed quite a fitting place to go to commemorate the death of our son with our two younger teenage kids and also to check it out for our wedding anniversary dinner. We were greeted by the new manager Sean who made us feel welcome. Unfortunately his chef for...

This inn has been made the beacon of Bamford by the wonderful warmth, welcoming and excellent management of Chris and Mike. Visiting The Snake Pass Inn and staying the night in their charming rooms has been a delightful family treat that we will.

Having recently bought a new motor home my parents decided to try the snake pass in Brit stop. They were very welcoming, the food was great and the drinks reasonable. It's also just round the corner from Derwent reservoir.

Great base for four friends to hit the hills. Very welcoming, comfy apartment (note no shower) delicious cider and wines, delicious breakfasts and supper served promptly and they happily accommodated our dog and muddy boots, as well as gluten free and vegetarian eaters. We'll be back!

This is my our second stay in 3 years at the Inn. Chris had just taken over 3 years ago and since then the place has had a repaint and a bar refit and looks and feels even more welcoming than before. It is still a traditional Inn which has warmth and a cosy homely atmosphere. Positives: Full delicious English...
