All the family went for Halloween wasn't as good this year as expected but had a good time still, great breakfasts in a morning and can order from the local takeaway at night so great pizza for tea!! Beer prices are abit steep so take some xtra cash!! But over all a great family place, probably much better in summer...

visited many times over the years - well organised, good facilities and a great pub and entertainment on site. Ideal if you have kids. Plenty to do on site and a superb location for walking from the site to local pubs or using as a base to explore the local peak district.

Nice place. As the title says i was a little reserved upon arival. Cosy pitches meant that its tough to drive reverse onto hitch. Both times i just dragged the caravan on/ off the tow bar. Had problems with kids taking chunks out of my kids. Firm words were had and i can only i was in right as no...

I realise that our visit was towards the end of their season but the camp looked very tired. The hardstanding pitches we felt should be tarmac as the base they use is easy trodden into the motorhome and is terrible when wet. Its quite a tight turn from the tarmac road onto your pitch and we could see no water...

At the last minute we decided to get away for a couple of nights. We found a half price deal online and this swayed us to ring the site. Most sites around Ashbourne/Uttoxeter etc are overpriced to accomodate Alton Towers visitors but at what worked out at £12.75 a night it was a bargain. The site was very well maintained...

My partner and I chose the camp site due to its close proximity to the Cycling Tissington Trail. The site is well managed with a shop, cafe and cozy pub. Certainly worth paying a visit if you're looking for a place to begin your hike or cycle.

We (myself, husband and 2 1/2 y.o.) went here in early September, taking advantage of the 2-4-1 deal they had on. On the pitch next to us was my friend's family consisting of two adults, a 3 y.o. and a 1 y.o. Upon arrival my heart sank: the site is huge, with a massive queue to check in. However there...
