Stayed here with 2 friends in Nov 2016. We were on a National Trust weekend so wanted somewhere cheap and accessible for a Sat-Mon trip. The place was deserted due to the time of year which was actually really nice. The pub next door was great for a pub dinner when we arrived as it was too late to be...

Excellent staff, easy parking, clean rooms, quiet location and overall excellent value for money. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there is a Stepping Stones pub meters away which serves great food and again has great staff.

We stayed at the same Travelodge last year for the Alton Towers firework night. Its a great location but the amenities are average at a push. Last time we stayed as couple so no problem about breakfast/amenities but this time we decided to take the children too as there now old enough to manage a late night. We had a...

We stopped here for one night after visiting Alton towers, we were really pleased with the stay because it was only 10 mins drive from Alton. In the morning we were able to leave the car in the car park and walk into Ashbourne which was only 1 mile away and have breakfast! There was a lovely pub over the...

We use this hotel as a base for a short break to Alton Towers (15-20 minute drive). The hotel has been updated and there is a restaurant next door as well as an Aldi, whic is really handy. The rooms are a good size and they have also improved the pillows - which was our biggest issue (last time we...
