Fantastic two night stay. Extremely hospitable hosts who couldn't do enough. Location and standard of rooms spot on. Would recommend to anyone who stays in the area. Ashbourne is a lovely town to be next to also.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding nearby. Jane and Brian were very welcoming. The architecture of the building is breathtaking, it is beautifully decorated and very clean. Our room was very spacious with beautiful views. Breakfast was amazing with a choice of fresh fruit, granola, cereal, yogurt, toast, a full english, scrambled eggs and mushrooms. The scrambled... A little piece of heaven in the lovely countryside. We couldn't fault a thing.....a welcoming cup of tea and biscuits from the host Jane. ...and her Dad! Our room was spacious and one of the cleanest rooms we have stayed in. Roll top bath.....extremely relaxing after a day out. Would highly recommend The Saracens Head in Shirley around 20 mins... Stayed for one night mid-week whilst hunting for property in Derbyshire. Would have gladly moved in! A perfect location and a perfect host (Elaine)-covering for the owners-couldn't have been more helpful. We had the Chatsworth room which was very spacious with the added luxury of a roll top bath. Very quiet and relaxing. The only disappointment was that we couldn't... More

This place is just so unbelievably beautiful and is set within well kept and loved grounds - it's just perfect. I cannot fault this place whatsoever and will return time and time again. One of the best places that we have stayed and the owners are just amazing.

This is a beautiful building set in the peaceful countryside of Derbyshire. The view from our bedroom was stunning. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was spotlessly clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful and recommended some lovely places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in the Kedleston room for one night after a wonderful day in Ashbourne. Hungry Bentley Barn is set in beautiful surroundings . It's it by far the cleanest establishment we have ever stayed in. The room was amazing, the hospitality was second to none and the breakfast was gorgeous. We will definitely return again
