Have stayed here a few times, last being Friday 25th November. Its a family run hotel, always friendly, staff and owners always make guests welcome. Food is homemade and very very good, wouldn't stay anywhere else. It has a bar, free wifi in rooms and separate dining room. Its a short walk into town.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel as we were attending a wedding nearby. The room was spacious with plenty of storage and a sofa. The bathroom was large with a bath and shower over the bath. All very clean. The photos don't do the hotel justice, it appears that they have updated areas but no new photos on... More

One night stay on a Saturday. Lovely welcome from Sue. Good to find the bar open as I fancied a couple of pints after a long drive. Jennings Best Bitter, perfect pint. Had a couple of bar meals, no frills, just good home cooking and plenty on the plate. Bed comfortable and really good night's sleep. Will stay again.

Found through Expedia so first time staying here. Sue could not have done more - very friendly and went out of her way to make me feel welcomed. Room was well appointed - the only complaint was the mattress as you could feel the springs. The bathroom was very clean and in great condition (I look for these things!) I... More
