A hotel with OK room, good staff, lovely breakfast and everything clean. We got what it said on the tin nothing extra, we would go back. Right price and clean, happy with that we also had a quick beer whilst football was on, not too pricey

No one on reception, had to seek staff out. Then told hotel not serving any food. Not helpful as I needed an evening meal! Room was very tired and dated, though it was warm, plenty of hot water and felt safe. Breakfast options were really limited. Overall I was pretty unimpressed. Place feels like it needs investment of money and...

Often go to the chase for Sunday lunch and it is always gorgeous food. Last time we went tho there was no mash just new potatoes which i don't like, should always have mash on a Sunday dinner, there wasn't any starters on that the kids would eat either. Would be ideal if there was a kids menu and always...

Stayed August 1st 2016 in double room. Me and my wife chose this hotel because we were informed by them about their secure cycle storage - this turned out to be an uncovered alleyway behind the kitchen area. This area was only secured overnight and left open throughout the day, luckily we found a drain pipe to secure our cycles...

Stayed the night before we set of on our ride. The hotel is a quick walk into town so the location is brill. The rooms are a little dated but perfectly clean and served us well for what we needed. Loverly breakfast in the morning to set us up nicely for the day. Big thanks to all the staff who...

We stayed at the Chase Hotel at the start of our Coast to Coast bike ride and were really pleased with it. The staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast was great. Rooms and facilities are a little tired, but they were very clean and the service more than made up for it!

Hubby & I stayed next door at the Cornerhouse B&B, however when we checked in we wanted a quite drink after such a long journey & our host advised on the Chase Hotel as it was advertised as being open to non-residents. We walked next door and had such a warm welcome from the staff when asking for drinks. Becca...

We had an enjoyable experience here - and especially appreciated the friendly and helpful staff (we arrived late at night to check in after a delayed train journey) and the cooked breakfast quality. Our room was comfortable - although obviously a little worn and tired - but the price reflected that - so an overall reasonable (average) value for money...
