We stayed at the Rosegarth for 2 nights in October with another couple. We had room 7 in the attic which also has an annex with 2 twin beds. There were just the 2 of us but it would make an ideal room for a couple with 2 young children. The sunsets both nights were fantastic and we had a... More

A very homely and welcoming guest house run by the most hospitable host! Rosegarth is located within a stone's throw of Ravenglass station (1 min by bike, so around 3-4 mins walk) and on a generally quiet road with spectacular views over the estuary. I was in a cosy and spotless small double room (Room 3) with ensuite shower-room on... More

We stayed here for one night on 12th October 2016 with two friends for a birthday treat. The views over the estuary are beautiful. The rooms were beautifully clean and spacious I particularly liked the binoculars in the bedroom for guests to watch the early morning birds at the waters edge. The breakfast was well cooked and plentiful and the... More

Just had a lovely 4 night break at the Rosegarth with my dog, we were both made very welcome. It's in a lovely location overlooking the estuary, beautiful sunsets and a great spot for walking, just a couple of minutes walk to La'll Ratty and the train station so a great place to get out and about without the car.... This is an outstanding place to stay. The room we stayed in had a little veranda, facing the beautiful estuary. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had a good sized bathroom, with excellent shower. The stay was made special by the friendly, efficient hosts, who lent us maps, told s about the locality, and cooked the most amazing... More

The room was compact, clean and well provided for with pleanty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, There was a wall mounted TV, which we didn't watch, the natural sunsets and people watching was entertainment enough. The en-suite small but all you needed. The only problem was the... More

I don't now write reviews unless something is outstanding. This place is, there were two of us cycling and we were made very welcome. There was a lock up for the bikes and the twin room, although small, was immaculate. Breakfast was superb with a good choice and even the "light bites" were very filling. I cannot recommend this place... More

We stayed in this B&B in August. The location was perfect with great views, the rooms were very well equipped and clean. We received a very warm welcome and our bicycles were stored securely over night. The breakfast was delicious and there were a choice of places to eat at night. We would certainly stay here again.

Only stayed for a couple of nights. We had a twin room at the back of the building, which has a garden view with cobbled car park directly below. The room and ensuite are small but adequate for this length of stay. The breakfasts were excellent and the owner and staff very welcoming and friendly. Would stay again if we... More
